Ricardo's Pov

"I wish you were dead instead, if only it was you instead of him" she yelled at me, looking at me with hatred in her eyes.

"Mother," I stretched my hand to try to reach out to her but she pushed me away.

"I hate you, so please just die instead!" She screamed and that brought me back to reality. I gasped out loud, my lungs devoid of air as I woke up from my nightmare.

I sighed and rubbed my forehead, I used my other hand to loosen my tie. I had slept off on the couch, working on some documents Darion sent to me.

I groaned and stood off from the couch, to get myself a cup of water when my eyes caught Diamond, I almost forgot I came here with her for my fake honeymoon.

she was so deeply asleep with a light snore which made her look cute. I could tell she was exhausted. After our meal together, I had gotten so engrossed in work, to escape from her questions. That probably prompted her into sleeping but not before she squeezed out of me a date with her tomorrow.
