Chapter 18: Disappointing News
One night after dinner, she got stunned when her father joined her at the poolside area and seated on one of the lounge chairs beside her. She has a feeling he wanted to talk because she noticed him earlier trying to make a conversation over the dinner but he got being distracted by Leanna telling him about some business plan.
"I checked on your room and on the hammock in the garden but I got stunned when I found you here. Is the garden no longer your favorite place?" Her father started that made her look at him.
Her father's right, the garden especially the hammock is her favorite place to stay in the house before but after that one fateful night when she saw Cedrick Miguel and Leanna kissing in the garden, she decided to hate that particular area.
