"I don't think this is something a street thug would do," Jasper knowingly said as he caressed Alyssa's neck.

"Cyrus, I think we should investigate the crime scene. Any clues could exonerate Uncle Nathan!" Alyssa's phone buzzed the moment she finished speaking. It was Colene.

"Colene."

"Lyse, Nathan would never kill anyone! Someone must have framed him!" Colene's voice trembled with anxiety.

"Colene, don't panic. We'll get to the bottom of this." Alyssa's heart tightened, but she continued to comfort her gently.
