Chapter 59- Vulnerable

Nate Masters' Point of View:

I felt terrible about overwhelming Jade. She's been ignoring us for the entire plane ride and I couldn't stand it. At one point I was going to try to speak to her but Christy advised against it. She had her headphones in and her eyes were closed.

"It is best to just let her be for now," Christy spoke sadly "we don't want to upset her anymore"

I sighed, "I feel bad for assuming her answer and getting her mad"

"It's my fault as well," she leaned back in her seat "I pushed her"

"You did"

She stared at me but didn't comment on my statement because we both knew that I was right.

"Do you think she'd really change her mind?" I asked quietly.

She took a deep breath, "Look Nate she loves you she might be mad right now but I promise it'll be okay"

My lips lifted slightly at her words, "thanks Christy"

"By the way did you know a cousin of hers is getting married?"
