Chapter 13

            When we arrived at my apartment, I got out of the car before Alejandro could come around and ushered me, I hurried up the stairs. I could hear him behind me catching up. So I double my steps and hurriedly get inside my apartment, and when I tried to shut the door Alejandro put up his hand and pushed his way inside.

            “We have to talk, Cameron.” He demanded. Both of his hands are in his side.

            I whirled around. “Yes, we do. You said we had to talk about the check. You were certainly willing to throw it at me when you called me whore. Where is it?” I said gesturing my right hand in front of me. “I want it now and I don’t give a damn what you think about me. I am taking it.”
