New York never really shuts up, and neither does my mind. I turn in bed for what feels like the hundredth time and groan softly into the pillow. This is ridiculous. My body is exhausted. CHAPTER 36CAROLINEThe medical wing is nothing like I expected. I expected darkness and stone walls. Something dramatic and horrifying, considering werewolves apparently exist. Instead, it looks almost painfully normal with white walls, bright lights and the sharp scent of antiseptic.For one terrifying second, it feels like home.
