Reagan

His hands rubbed my hair affectionately before he pulled me into a hug.

Rita ran outside to the bodies of the men sprawled dead on the ground and me in Mr Todd's arms.

" I'll be back," he said facing Rita.

" I need you to take care of yourselves, call me if anything happens, he said Before placing a kiss on my forehead and turning to leave.

I walked back into the House with Rita, both of us silent until we got into the house.

The door was locked, and I walked into the bathroom while Rita did the same as well.

We settled down in our respective rooms, too tired to bring anything up to talk about and both overwhelmed by the turns of events.

The soft ding of the door being opened woke me up from sleep, Rita had left and had stopped a note before leaving and I walked to the door to Mr Todd at the door.
