“What if we sign an alliance with Savvy-Tech? Will that make investors trust us?” The folds between my eyebrows creased as I glanced at Carla in confusion.

Why did she sound like we had already secured an alliance with Savvy-Tech? They had been unresponsive so far. I was even planning on choosing another tech company to partner with.

As expected, Daniel scoffed at Carla’s words.

“Yeah, right. Even Elias, the heir of the Hart group, couldn’t manage to get through to Savvy-Tech. How can you do it?” He mocked. “It doesn’t matter if you get rid of Elias Hart or not. Today, we will have to appoint another CEO. I won’t believe that you two managed to contact Savvy-Tech, let alone make them sign a contract with the company.”

I internally rolled my eyes.

Anyone could tell what Daniel’s agenda was. He was eying the CEO position.

Poor Elias didn’t even know that he was being used. Once he was out of the picture, his so-called backer didn’t even care.
