🖱️Jayden🖱️

Dinner was starting to feel normal. Or at least normal for a place filled with wings, claws, and people who think violence is a greeting.

I was halfway through a bowl of something River promised wouldn’t poison me when a warm breath hit the back of my neck.

A slow inhale.

A very intrusive sniff.

I froze.

What the actual fuck.

River’s eyes widened, and his head snapped down like he was praying to every god in existence. That alone should’ve been my first sign to run.

I turned around.

And came face to face with pure insanity.

Tall. Sharp-eyed. Smiling like he had just discovered dessert.

Before I could blink, he leaned down, grabbed my chin, and…

His mouth was on mine.

My brain short-circuited.

I shoved him so hard he stumbled back.

“What the actual fuck, man!” Did I just lose my first kiss? This is irritating.

He wiped his mouth slowly with the back of his hand, eyes glinting, lazy smile in place. Illegal.

“He tastes as good as he smells,” he said, low, amused, unnervingly calm.

The entire table went silent.

River whispered under his breath, eyes wide: “We are so dead. Actual corpses.”

The stranger tilted his head, studying me like I was breaking every law in existence.

“But you’re human. How come you’re here?”

Human.

The word sounded like an accusation. What’s wrong with being human? Isn’t he… human too?

I pushed my chair back, heartbeat loud in my ears.

“Human? Seriously? That’s your first question after attacking my mouth?”

He stepped closer. One slow, confident step. His golden eyes glowed like fire catching light.

I stepped back.

River kicked my ankle under the table, painfully. Do not challenge him, his eyes screamed. Please do not challenge him. I like being alive.

The stranger ignored River completely. His attention stayed glued to me.

“You’re interesting,” he said quietly. “But no human smells like that. No human reacts like that when I touch them. So what are you?”

My chest tightened.

His voice dropped lower.

“And why does every instinct in me want you on your knees with my cock in your mouth?”

River slapped his forehead on the table. “We are so dead. Dead. Dead. Ultra dead.”

I wanted to walk away. Breathe. Move.

But my feet wouldn’t obey.

Not because I was scared.

Because something inside me reacted. A spark I didn’t understand. Heat rushed under my skin like someone lit a fire in my blood.

He noticed. Smiled wider.

“Interesting.”

He reached out again, but before he could touch me, a cold voice sliced through the hall behind him.

“That’s enough. Move.”

The psycho with golden eyes didn’t budge.

Another presence brushed my shoulder lightly. Too light, like a warning disguised as a caress.

A smooth voice murmured in my ear:

“You didn’t answer his question, sweetheart. What are you really?”

Before I could respond, another figure stepped forward—tall, broad, dangerous. My heart hammered like it wanted out.

“Can I have a taste? Let’s see how good you really are.”

I froze. My brain short-circuited again. Taste? Good? What the actual fuck is wrong with this place?

“I… I’m not… I don’t…” I stammered, trying to steady my voice, but heat rose under my skin, betraying me.

He smirked, leaning closer. The scent hit me first—sharp, intoxicating, every instinct screaming to run while another screamed to obey.

“Relax. I’m not going to hurt you… unless you want me to.”

I shoved him back hard. “I said no!”

He laughed. Low. Throaty. Shameless. “You have spirit, human. I like that.”

I blinked. My chest tight, stomach twisting, hands shaking. This was insane. Dangerous. Pure chaos. And yet… I didn’t want to move away.

“I… I’m…” I tried again, words caught in my throat.

Another laugh. Another step closer. “I’ll take that as consent.”

I jumped back, narrowly avoiding his touch, heart slamming against my ribs. “Absolutely not!”

River stayed frozen behind me, eyes wide, trembling. Every muscle in his body screamed fear. I realized I was completely alone in facing this madness.

And yeah… we were. Absolutely, irrevocably screwed.

Before I could process what just happened, someone from the other side of the hall stepped forward, sharp voice commanding:

“That’s enough.”

The golden-eyed guy straightened, eyes narrowing, then smirked and threw his hands up.

“We’re just joking, man. Relax.”

They backed off and walked to sit with the one who spoke, leaving me blinking in disbelief. My chest still pounding, mind racing faster than it had in years.

River grabbed my arm, dragging me out before I could react.

“What the fuck are you, man?” he hissed, eyes wide.

I blinked. “What do you mean?”

River shook his head, exasperated. “You got the attention of the craziest, most powerful student in the academy. He kissed you on your first meeting! This has never happened. Ever. He doesn’t even… screw men.”

I froze. My stomach dropped. Brain short-circuited. “He… what?”

River let out a sharp breath, pacing. “Yeah. That guy… he’s untouchable. Nobody messes with him. But somehow… you made him do that. You. And now he’s intrigued. You have no idea what you’ve stepped into.”

I swallowed hard, feeling the weight pressing down. This wasn’t just a weird initiation. It was a warning. A challenge. And for some reason, I couldn’t stop my heart from racing—not just with fear, but… something else I didn’t want to admit.

River shook his head again, voice softer. “You have no idea what you’re walking into, weirdo. Just… don’t do anything stupid.”

I clenched my fists, trying to calm my racing thoughts. I had no idea what I’d gotten myself into. None.

🖱️Jayden🖱️Death was the least thing I imagined when I stepped into the supernatural world. I thought the worst case scenario would be fights, powers going out of control, maybe the council breathing down my neck. I did not think I would be standing in a room with the two people I love most while discussing which version of my death sounded less tragic. That was not on my bingo card.I was raised in fear. Not the loud kind. The quiet, constant kind. My parents shielded me from everything. From constantly getting kidnapped. From extended family visiting too often. From anything that looked even slightly suspicious. I used to think they were just overprotective. Now I realize they were terrified. They knew something about me that I didn’t. They were trying to delay the inevitable. And now here I am. In the middle of it.Either I die.Or one of my mates dies for me.This is so messed up I don’t even know where to start.“Can we not talk about you looking peaceful or not, my love?” Vict

🖱️Victor🖱️ The room went quiet after Jayden’s voice cracked with anger, and I could feel the shift in him. He was no longer the confused boy reacting to chaos. He was standing in it now, staring back at it. That alone made something in my chest tighten with pride. Sammy was the first to break the silence. “I think there is more to your existence, Jayden,” he said slowly, like he was thinking out loud but also daring anyone to challenge him. Jayden frowned slightly, not defensive, just trying to process. I crossed my arms and leaned back against the wall, forcing myself to stay calm even though my mind was racing faster than it should. “He has the power to control every creature to do his bidding,” I said firmly. “That alone is a threat to them.” Jane nodded slowly, but her eyes were sharp. “But the real question here shouldn’t just be why they fear him. It should be why he was created like this in the first place. Why was there ever a need to control every creature?” That ques

🖱️Jayden🖱️The knock on the door caught me off guard, loud enough to make me jump a little. I looked at Sammy, who immediately squinted, his brows furrowed.“Is that Tony again?” he muttered, voice half sleepy, half suspicious.Victor, who was standing near the window, shook his head. “I wasn’t expecting him until tonight,” he said calmly, but I could see the way his eyes narrowed, that protective instinct kicking in even before he moved. Before either of them could react further, the door swung open and Jane just barreled right past Victor like he wasn’t even there. My heart nearly skipped a beat as she ran straight into my arms.“Jayyy!” she cried, wrapping her arms tight around me. I couldn’t help the laugh that bubbled out, even with the tension in the air.“I’m so sorry, bestie,” she said into my chest, voice shaking a little. “Parent won’t let me leave the festival… I kept trying, I really did. I felt that you were in danger and I couldn’t come to you regardless, I just-” she

🖱️Sammy🖱️We were all sprawled out on the training room floor, bodies dripping with sweat, lungs screaming for air, and muscles whining like they’d just been through a storm. That last round had pushed all of us harder than I thought possible, and yet, there was this weird, satisfying ache that came from knowing we’d given it everything. My chest heaved as I lay there, trying to catch my breath, and I could feel Victor beside me, equally wrecked, but still managing to look… impossibly composed. Jayden, though… man, he was sprawled on his back, staring at the ceiling, and I could tell he was trying to hide just how wiped out he actually was.And then it happened. The sound. That tiny, innocent, betrayed little grumble from his stomach. At first, it was just a small noise, like someone trying not to admit they were starving. But then it got louder. Louder. Louder. We all froze for a second. And then… laughter. Full-on, ridiculous, rolling laughter. Victor snorted and clutched his stom

🖱️Victor🖱️I like where all this is heading.I didn’t say it loudly at first. I said it more to myself, watching the way Jayden stood there trying to control that invisible shield of his like he had just discovered a new limb. The excitement in his eyes was not fear anymore. It was curiosity. Hunger. The good kind. This was no longer just about survival. This was power meeting discipline.I turned to Sammy.“So,” I said, folding my arms, “do you have any unique abilities outside the usual werewolf package?”Jayden immediately looked at him too, eyes bright like he was waiting for a secret reveal.Sammy scratched the back of his neck.“Other than being faster than most wolves?” he said. “Not really.”I studied him carefully.Faster than most wolves was not small. Speed wins fights. Speed saves lives. But I needed to see it.“Fight me,” I said.He blinked.“I’m sorry?”“You heard me.”Jayden’s head snapped between us like he was watching a live match already.Sammy gave me a weird loo

🖱️Jayden🖱️I thought we were already training.I really did.My body was sweating, my legs were shaking, and I was one deep breath away from laying flat on the mat and refusing to move again. So when Victor stepped back, rolled his shoulders, and said in that calm voice of his, “Enough playing around. Now we train for real,” I almost laughed.Because what did he mean playing around?I was literally fighting for my life five minutes ago.Sammy stood beside him, cracking his knuckles like this was about to turn into a movie scene. He looked way too excited for someone who just watched me struggle through balance drills.“Wait,” I said, raising my hand. “What exactly was the first part then?”Victor’s lips curved slightly.“Warm up.”I stared at him.“You call that warm up?”Sammy leaned closer to me and whispered, “Don’t argue. It gets worse.”That did not help.Victor walked to the center of the room and closed his eyes for a second. The air shifted almost immediately. I felt it befo
