FAITH

I groaned as I felt the stab of betrayal at the same time that Kaiden did, our bond pulsing with the hurt and anger.

Mine was minor compared to the heart-wrenching pain coming from Kaiden, though, and I wanted nothing more than to race to his side and offer my support. But even as his mate, I couldn't do that in front of so many others.

My uncle looked down at me, his head tilted slightly as he took in the scene before him, trying to piece it together with what little information he had.

He looked and sounded well for someone who had been almost dead for the past century, but I imagined that, after being a prisoner in his own body for so long, he would be angry and trigger-happy, ready to kill.

“You didn’t,” I whispered, looking over Mila’s shoulder. Mila turned to follow my stare, and I could see the moment it clicked for her as her entire body tensed, She shook her head in disbelief.

I remember when Julianna was huge suspect at being the traitor and kind of fell off the suspect list. My heart breaks for Kaiden and Nova because Julianna was there when their mother wasn’t. I love Faith’s place is Kaiden’s Luna! I love that is where she wants to be!
