40| His Past

Nikki's POV 

When Luciano and Xaphan left me alone, I sat on the couch in the living room and kept on waiting for their return. My head was filled with many thoughts and my brain was not ready to stop overthinking. It became very hard for me to cut the time. 

My head snapped in the direction of the door and I instantly stood up when I saw Luciano and Xaphan entering the hall. Xaphan's legs were wobbling and Luciano was giving him full support to help him in walking. 

I ran to him and gave my shoulder to Xaphan. He was drunk heavily. He couldn't even walk properly. He has also removed the bandage wrapped over his arm and I am sure he has done this in anger. The first thing he needs to learn is to control his rage. 

With much difficulty I and Luciano took him to his room and made him lie on the bed, he turned and lay on his stomach, released a loud animal grunt, and closed his eyes in frustration.
