"I want to be completely yours." I whispered and his lips parted slightly. "You sure-" he cleared his throat. " I mean, are you aware that I'm-" "Would you forgive me then?" I asked and a few seconds later, his gaze met mine which was softened than earlier and nodded his head. "Then take me right away." I whispered and his brows shot up in a bit surprise at my statement but quickly his expression replaced into a faint smile. "B-But I don't want to take advantage of this situation." he muttered. "Mom, are you listening to me?" I almost shouted at my mom who was ignoring me completely. "Mom!"
"I don't know why you're so obsessed with the babysitting. Is that even a job Bella?" she questioned at me taking her gaze away from her laptop.
"But mom.. you know I love kids and look at this.. They are paying thirty thousand quid per month, even you don't earn that much." I half-teased, showing my phone to her which made her glare at me.
"Hey! I'm a surgeon. I could earn more than that within a day." she said with a proud smile which made me roll my eyes as I knew she could never be able to make that much of money in a day.
Then she took my phone and stared at the screen for awhile before returning it back. "I think this would be a scam, who does pay that much of money for being a nanny?" she doubted, frowning in confusion. Nanny? Jeez, she'd never understand my job.
Nonetheless, I looked at the job advertisement once again which was published yesterday and read the information carefully.
"No mom.. I guess it's true. They'll be selecting the babysitter by organizing an interview and a lot of people have already applied for this job. But I don't think they'd interview all of them."
"Okay, so what do you want me to do now?"
"Well-" I cleared my throat nervously. "-I've applied for this job too.. and they've sent me a message saying that they'd like to meet me in person and discuss about it further." I told, looking at her and she furrowed her brows, closing her laptop.
"Where do they wanna meet you?"
"They've sent me the address." I glanced at my phone screen. "Guess, they're from London."
Her eyes widened hearing my last sentence. "London? You are planning to leave this city? You're planning to leave me as your dad did for his job?" she ranted placing the laptop aside and I sat beside her letting out a loud sigh.
"Mom.. Dad has gone to abroad for the purpose of his job and I do the same. Please mom.. let me go." I begged holding the back of her palm and she remained silent, staring ahead.
As she kept quiet for a long time I rested my head on her lap and muttered, "Fine mom. I'm not going anywhere, I'll be with you, running my daycare as usual."
I heard her sigh as she stroked my hair and began to speak after a few moments. "Only one month; If you stay more than a month then just forget about me."
I jumped up in joy and hugged her tightly thanking her countless times for letting me go to London.
"Okay, okay. When do you have to go there?" she asked me after pulling away.
"Uhm..I guess they would be hiring the applicants for a whole week so I should have to leave here today itself." I announced.
"Today? But-"
"Mom, the sooner I get there, the better." I stated and she groaned underneath her breath.
"Fine. Go and pack your bags then, I'll book the train ticket for you." she informed opening the laptop again. I nodded and made my way to my room but stopped in mid-track when she called me by my name.
"So what about your daycare?" she asked without taking her eyes away from her phone.
"Don't worry mom, Emma will take care of it." I replied and she nodded.
------"Did you take your toothbrush?" she asked me for the twentieth time about the silly stuffs while we were waiting at the train station.
I nodded faintly and when she was about ask another question, I interrupted. "Mom, relax! I took everything."
The sadness in her face deepened and I gripped her arms softly. "I will call you everyday, I promise. I'm really gonna miss you too but you don't need to worry about me, I can take care of myself but above all I'm not sure whether I'd select for the interview or not." I sighed, waving my hands in the air and she pulled me into a hug.
"Don't worry Bella. They won't ask hard questions for the babysitting job." she told in an amusement tone, hugging me even more tightly and I chuckled in response.
Then we pulled away when we noticed the train had arrived. I stood up, pulling one of my suitcases while she helped me to carry my other luggages. When I got in, she handed them to me with a weak smile on her face.
"Don't forget to call me when you reach there and inform Trevor too." she reminded and I nodded.
Trevor was my long-distance boyfriend who would always call exactly the same time everyday.
"Sure mom.. bye!" I beamed before getting in. I sat on the first empty seat I noticed and luckily it was a window seat too. I opened the window where I could see my mom properly and she waved her hand with watery eyes and I blew a flying kiss and waved my hand till the train started to move.
Then I took my headset and put it on and the songs from my playlist started to play as I leaned on my seat and stared at the window. I can already feel I'm going to experience new stuffs!
I slowly opened my eyes when I heard random footsteps and I never knew when I've fallen asleep. I found that the train already came to the destination and noticed many people were moving out of the train.
A man who sat across me stood, lifting his luggages as he was about to exit.
"Excuse me, have we arrived London?" I asked and he nodded, looking down at me.
I muttered a thankyou to him before leaving the train. Then I booked a taxi which arrived within two minutes and I was really surprised how quick the service was, before getting into it.
I informed the location to the driver which I got from someone who was working at the place when I contacted him regarding the job.
The place was not far away from the station and I couldn't be able to see much places on London but by admiring the buildings through the window in a short period of time made me fall in love with this city already. It really looked beautiful than Bradford where I have been living since I was born.
I slowly stepped out of the taxi and the taxi driver made his way to the boot to take out my luggages. My mouth fell open when I saw the tall and breathtaking mansion in front of me.
Am I going to work here?
Who could afford to buy a palace like this just to have a roof under them?
Now I'm feeling super nervous!
"Ma'am, if you pay the amount, I can leave." the driver said kindly, bringing me back to reality and I nodded and paid the money before heading to the huge mansion.
After informing about myself to the guards and the workers, I finally met the personal assistant of the billionaire.
"Welcome!" he greeted with a warm smile and the guards took my luggages from my grip and took them to God-knows-where. "I'm Hayden. The personal assistant of Christian Roberts."
I smiled and before I could introduce myself to him, he spoke again. "Are you up for the interview or you want to take some rest?"
"No, I'm fine. We'll do it right away." I replied in a normal tone, hiding my excitement.
Then he nodded and guided me to somewhere and without anymore word, I followed him, holding my handbag.
After we got in to the elevator he pressed the button and we reached the third floor in no time. We got into a large room passing by many guards who were roaming here and there in the hallway but the place seemed extremely quiet.
"May I come in, sir?" Hayden knocked on the door and a deep voice came from inside saying, "Come in." and we both entered inside.
I noticed a man who had broad shoulders was typing something on his laptop hiding his face from us. This must be the billionaire!
"Sir, She has come to the interview for the babysitting job." Hayden informed and the billionaire's gaze slowly met mine as he raised his head to look at me.
I expected the king of this beautiful palace to be attractive too and I realized my expectation wasn't wrong at all after seeing his face.
I guess, he was in his early thirties but still he looked as flawless as a Greek God.
When he leaned on his rolling chair, rubbing his stubble with his hand which had a Rolex watch, I couldn't help feeling the sudden adrenaline rush.
"Are you there?" he waved his hand in front of me, snapping me out of my trance.
Oh the voice.. stop Bella!!
"Uhh..Yeah sir.." I stammered and he sighed, shaking his head.
"How many times I'm calling you?" he asked exasperatedly and I ducked my head muttering a sorry.
Then he said Hayden to leave and ordered me to sit down till he was going through my files that I've submitted him through email. I played with my fingers, glancing around as if it could lesson my nervousness.
"Well, Isabella White, yeah?" he asked, still looking at the laptop screen.
"Yes sir." I stated firmly.

Emma Davis-Wilson"How long will it take?" I asked, glancing at Hayden through the mirror who was drying my hair with the hair dryer and he shrugged, keeping his full focus on my hair."No idea. Maybe an hour?" He deadpanned and I grunted in response and was about to stand up but he gripped my shoulder and made me sit back on the vanity chair again. "Don't be rushed. Today your hair is more wet than you, so it needs time."I gave him a flat look before speaking. "I'm starving here and you're trying to make some lame-ass jokes.""I stated merely a fact, Em." Hayden said, giving me an amused glance through the mirror while blowing out my hair. "You look cute when you're mad by the way.""So you're implying I'm not cute when I'm not mad, huh?" I asked and he shrugged, setting the dryer down on the table."I guess. Because as far as I know, you've always been mad with me." he stated and I shot him a mock glare."Because you've always been an asshole.""Ouch. that hurts." he placed his hand
Emma Davis-Wilson When my brain processed what Hayden said, I literally started panicking. Why on earth did Christian disclose this which no one had brought up for more than a year?I cleared my throat, trying not to meet Hayden's eyes. "I- um, I should head back. I'm.. tired."Before I could leave, Hayden gripped my elbow making me stop. "No. You can't leave unless you tell me everything.""Wh-What's there to tell?" I played dumb, shrugging my shoulders and Hayden let out a groan in response."Em, why won't you let me know you? Why can't you just open up to me?"I stared up at him and let out a soft sigh, shaking my head faintly. "It's not that easy..""But it's not hard either! I mean, you confessed all of this to Christian but you couldn't even share a single detail of your life to me ever since I've known you? How is this even fair?""Because you've never understood me even in the slightest!" I admitted bluntly and he seemed taken aback as he looked at me with furrowed brows."Wh
Emma Davis 2 years laterI scrolled through my Instagram and when I tapped on his profile, I noticed there was a round circle around his profile picture which meant that he had posted a new story.I instantly viewed it and my eyebrows shot up in surprise when he posted a picture of mine that was taken almost two years ago, in which I was obviously fake-aweing while showing my ring finger to the camera which had a giant diamond ring wrapped around it. And he has written 'Happy Birthday Em! Imy.' below that picture and didn't even tag me.Bruh!Eventhough his wish was so bland, my heart warmed as he has still remembered my birthday and never forgot to post it every year eventhough there were so many things that have changed over the period.Contrary to what I said above, I was still engaged to Hayden and he began the wedding plans three months ago when I told him I finally graduated.I didn't mind when he didn't attend my graduation ceremony. And neither did he mind that I was still no
Emma Davis The worst feeling, in my opinion, was when your life was falling apart and you couldn't do anything but pretend everything was fine as an Oscar award winner.I've had a lot of plans to do on Bella's big day but screwing my own life and being a broken-hearted maid of honour, wasn't one of them.I stood behind Bella with an impassive face, trying my best not to cry while she was confessing her vows to Christian. You may assume I was tearing up because my cousin's finally marrying the love of her life, but no, to be frank, I couldn't even be able to be happy for her, No matter how much I tried. All I wanted to do was, throw up because I was starting to worry that she'd get played too. That even the person you'd be ready to take a bullet for, would pull the trigger. And to make my situation worse, I caught Hayden glancing at my way now and then and it was really hard not to make an eye contact with him as he was straight ahead of me, standing a few feet away from Christian.Ha
Emma Davis "You've got any photo of him?" Hayden asked with a clenched jaw and I was suddenly fazed by his raw anger."No.. why?" I answered honestly as Kyle and I have actually never taken a single decent picture together as he hated being photographed and I never forced him either."How long have you guys been together?""Why do you care-""Just fucking tell me!"I glanced around at the people but they didn't seem to acknowledge our conversation as all of them were too busy to care about anything but Bella."Hayden, we're at church." I hissed and his jaw hardened as if he couldn't care less but nevertheless, he nodded at the entrance."Catch me outside." with that he stormed out and I sighed inaudibly before following him behind."Now tell me. How long have you been dating?" Hayden questioned, the minute we stepped out of the church."It's almost five months." I stated and crossed my arms over my chest. "But what's up with you actually?""You met him at your town?" He asked, comple
Emma Davis Wilson I waved one last time at Bella who was waving back at me through the window of her car.Chloe and Haley drifted off an hour ago and one was sleeping on Bella's lap while the other was in Christian's arms.Christian was totally wasted just like Hayden was, so he called his driver to drive them back home.Hayden has walked out with Christian to send them off and they were still talking, leaning on the car as if they didn't spend the half of the day, conversing with each other.Just as if they heard my thoughts, Christian nodded at Hayden and got into the back seat with Haley in his arms.I glanced around the place and it was a total mess, yet I didn't mind cleaning it all night because it was all worth it.It's been awhile since I've had fun like I had today and suddenly all the memories from the good old days flooded my mind.I smiled faintly, walking around the counter and grabbed the dirty dishes and put them into the sink. Then I put on the gloves, deciding to was
