"Here's your strawberry cheesecake Ma'am hope you enjoy it."

After the costumer left, I stretched my arms and yawned, maybe I have been really tired because of the costumers.

It's already five-thirty in the afternoon, I should go home and wait for the result of my entrance exam.

I am Kehlani Sai, 20 and currently entering college this month. I am a working student and living alone without any problem.

Well, I ran away from my home because I am really sick of living with my brothers who craves to insult me as I was an adopted of my deceased father.

"hey Kehli, it's been a while."

I was already preparing my things to go home when Lucy arrived. I sighed, mukhang matatagalan nanaman ang pag-uwi ko.

I am currently working in a small dessert shop, my daily earnings from the shop is enough for my daily expenses but it would be difficult if I will not pass the scholarship for my college.

She sat down on the vacant sit and invited me to sit on the vacant chair. Lucy is my friend since elementary. Unlike me, she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth.

Hindi ko nga alam kung pano ko siya naging kaibigan it must be fate to befriend with a rich girl while being sinking into the hardest life.

"Alam mo ba, yung 'Happy ever after' nag-update na!" excited na saad niya habang binubuklat ang bagong volume na libro. Pinakita niya ang last chapter that titled 'Forbidden Love' that made me giggled too.

One of the reason why we were friends because we are both in love with reading novels.

"I would be happy if you let me borrow that book, sa Wednesday pa maibibigay yung sweldo ko so I really can't buy the book." Hininaan ko ang boses ko dahil sa konting hiya, I mean I have been buying books from her because of the low price dahil nga sa magkaibigan kami and we both share the same type of genre.

"Ano ka ba, I am really planning on letting you borrow it. Isa pa it will be the ending na so I'm pretty sure letting you borrow it is nothing to worry about."

I smiled. Having a rich friend is the best! 

After a little chat with her, nagpaalam na siya dahil mag-uupdate daw siya ng blog niya about sa ending ng Happy ever after.

I was holding the last volume of the book habang nag-aantay ng masasakyan. I am excited about the ending lalo pa't the last update was all about the marriage of the heroine and the Male lead but it didn't resume due to a mysterious wizard said, 

"The everlasting happiness is bound to be happen when the true prophecy arrived."

The wizard was mysterious enough that the wedding was cut off because of the earthquake, I'm really a bit curious of what the wizard is talking about.

Napadaing ako nang mabangga ako ng tumatakbo na lalake, he was wearing a black hoodie. Nabitawan ko ang dala kong libro kaya dali dali ko itong pinulot.

"Buti nalang." Nakahinga ako ng maluwag dahil hindi naman nasira pero nagulat ako dahil walang laman ang libro.

It was all an empty page and before I could stand, a loud siren from a truck came and made me lose consciousness.

'The end and the beginning'

"Princess Charlotte, gising ka na ba?"

Parang hinihigop ang kaluluwa ko nang makabangon ako, the dizziness made my head looks evolving because of the truck I mean I died right?

"Princess, kailangan mo nang bumangon. Inatasan ka ng iyong ama na maghanda para sa pagpunta sa Palasyo."

Napatingin ako sa babaeng nakatingin sa'kin, she looks worried and wait— what? Princess? Who? Me? Huh? 

Inikot ko ang paningin ko at ang kumikinang na mga gamit mula sa kama hanggang sa bintana ang gumulat sa mga mata ko.

"Princess? Okay ka Lang ba?"

Mabilis akong lumapit sa babae at marahas na hinawakan ang magkabilang braso niya.

"Who am I? where am I? Who are you?" Sunod sunod na tanong ko na nakapagpagulat sakanya.

"Princess, ano ang iyong mga sinasabi. Marahil ay masama pa ang pakiramdam mo. Kahit ako ay masasaktan kung sa harap mo pa nagtaksil ang papakasalan mo." naging malungkot ang tingin niya pero ngumiti siya ulit.

Marahan niyang hinawakan ang dalawa kong kamay. "Wag kang mag-alala princess, susunod at susunod parin ako sayo kahit saan ka man magpunta pag nawalan ng saysay ang kasal niyo."

"What are you talking about? Anong kasal? I totally remembered I died. Is this perhaps heaven?" I was literally dumbfounded when her expression was like 'are-you-crazy'.

Mabilis akong tumayo at nagmamadaling lumapit sa salamin at napatili ako dahil sa babaeng nakita ko, what the fuck? Who is this woman?

Kelan pako gumanda?!

"Princess, anong nangyayare sayo?"

Binalikan ko ang babae at inusisa ang itsura niya, wearing a maid's uniform while having a worried expression. Why? Why am I getting confused!

"Who am I?" I asked.

"I-ikaw si Princess Charlotte Laurier ang pangalawang anak ni Grand Duke Alexander Laurier. Pri-princess anong nangyayare sayo?"

Charlotte Laurier? Wait! Huh? The familiar name, not only the name but the grand duke—

No this can't be.... Am I really Charlotte?

"Princess?"

I was breathing heavily while gripping the soft blanket covering half of my body. I tried pinching my cheeks and it felt so real, there's no way. 

Am I inside the novel?
