Zander's POV

After Jessica left, I swept everything off my desk.

Despite the mess around me, my mood didn't change.

I couldn't understand why I was so angry.

Was it Jessica's repeated defiance? Or was it the realization that her eyes lacked the adoring affection they once held for me?
