Luciana's POV

“Luciana Hart! Get out!”

My heart suddenly pounded upon hearing that voice and without thinking twice, I went out to see who was screaming outside.

My mouth widened when I saw my neighbor, Grace, and she looked pale. She was being carried by her husband, while they were assisted by some of the warriors.

Shocked from what's happening, I immediately asked.

“Grace? What's going on?” I asked.

Her husband lifted his gaze. He looked at me, his eyes filled with disdain.

“You poisoned my wife!”

I stepped back when he suddenly uttered these words at me.

“W-What?” I muttered, can't believe what I've heard.

“The herbal drink that you're selling earlier. It's not true to be effective. You poisoned her. She became like this after drinking it!”

I gulped with the accusation from Grace's husband. My hands were shaking as I tried to reach her, but her husband slapped my hand.

He never let me touch his wife as I was about to check and see if I could do something to help.
