Alpha Summoning

Mikhail

As expected, I have been summoned by the officials for a meeting. It’s rare for an Alpha leader to be summoned except a great crime like what I have done, has been committed. I had no plan on how to get myself out of this. It’s been two days since Elena left, and I haven’t heard from her. Madison, Darius, and Esther said they had spoken to her and everything was going fine, but they’d refused for me to call her. I’m starting to even suspect they don’t want me contacting her at all, not to mention the somber look on Madison’s face when she reported their conversation to me. I mean, she’s the reason I’m not causing chaos, because a mother’s instinct is never wrong. Like my mother’s instinct was never wrong about Dmitri and me.

Everyone stands to their feet, all bowing their heads the minute I walk in and make my way to my seat.

“We appreciate you for accepting the summoning,” One of the officials states. I nod and gesture at them to sit down.

“We will get on with the reason,”

Elena The disappointed and heartbreaking look on Mikahil’s face will forever haunt me. He just sits still with his gaze on me. I refuse to turn to him now, but I had managed to take a glance when an official caught his attention, and he looked so out of it. I didn’t want things to turn out this way, but Darius had suggested this was better. Agreeing to be with Dmitri, coming out as his omega and fiancée, then making him believe I’m on his side. Which was an original plan, but this time with more spice. I had exchanged my loyalty to Dmitri for him not marking me. That was the deal: I had to work against Mikhail in every way and be his omega servant. Which is great because it has helped me narrow down my plans. “I’m certain there has been a mix-up; however, my brother had no intention of making my mate his wife. Believe me, the media was just exaggerating,” The officials all nodded as though they hadn’t practiced beforehand. My chest ached at the realization, there’s not a single per

Elena “How dare you?!” The door burst open, slamming against the wall with the same force Dmitri had used to push it open. I had thrown the phone under the bed, not bothering to hang up. And now I can only pray they don’t hear the abuse I’m about to go through. “I don’t want to be marked,” “Does it look like I care?” Dmitri staggers as he makes his way to me. Blood is dripping from his head, mixing with his hair and rolling down the side of his face. I make no move, watching him keenly, hoping he slumps. He’s awake and moving now, but from his bleeding, I don’t think he will make it that long. And just as I hoped, Dmitri had slumped, lying on the ground with his eyes shut. I walk over his body, bending to grab the phone, and when I do, I take no chances as I press on the hang-up icon, placing the phone back exactly where and how I saw it. Then I drag Dmitri across the floor, struggling and groaning as I pull him up to the bed. I wasn’t helping him; he might think that way when he

ElenaMy hits certainly won’t be able to stop him, but I’m desperate to get out of his hold before he gets my neck. My hands lock onto a ceramic pot. I forgot he had one on the table by the side of his throne–like chair. It feels heavy at first, but I’m able to lift it and smash it onto Dmitri’s head, knocking him off immediately. Thankfully, he’s a recessive Alpha; they respond to pain quicker. I push his unconscious body away from me, getting to my feet and jumping over his body. Without looking back, I make my way to his room. Ezekiel had snatched my phone away from me, and immediately we got inside the car. But I need to send them a signal, so they know where I am at least. And then search for anything that can implicate Dmitri. Certainly, a meeting will soon be held concerning Mikhail and my secret marriage. From what I have seen of Dmitri, he will certainly stir up trouble if I can just find one thing that can tame him and keep him down. I’m good. That way, Mikhail will only ha

Elena I am back in this dark castle. Now I can confidently say this castle is creepy; it doesn’t reflect those dark emotions when I thought Mikhail had been the one to kill my father. And now, it feels like I am in the devil’s manor, his left-handed demon–Ezekiel lured me here, and now they used me. “You don’t look happy to be here, my love,” Dmitri, with his breath that stings like garlic, walks around me, trailing his finger along my jaw line. I shiver, not out of fear but out of disgust. Recalling how I let him use me, have sex with me, isn’t making it any better. It weighs my heart with not only the guilt of cheating on Mikhail but also ruining my family’s virtue. “Because I’m not,” I confess, not finding the need to hide the truth. And that earns me a hard grip. Dmitri is pressing my jaw so hard as though he’s trying to push my teeth out. I glare up at him despite the pain. “Having some nerves, I see. You finally found out the truth, and you think I’ll just let you go. You sh

Mikhail “Where the fuck is she?!” I question Darius and Madison, who had their heads dunked, unwilling to look back at me and give me a damn answer. I’m getting infuriated by their silence. Elena is not in her room nor mine. She’s nowhere in the pack house, and there are these two who can’t tell me where she is. “I need a fucking answer, Darius,” I refer to him, unable to curse and yell at the mother of the woman I’m in love with. Darius slowly raises his head, but his eyes are still fixed below. “Elena made a choice, and she was right. Right now we need to deal with–” “Made what fucking choice?! I gave an order to send her back here, where the fuck is she?” Madison flinches on the side, but Darus is indifferent. “She left.” Darius response tears my chest down, exposing my heart to the harsh acid that sips into it. How can she leave? She didn’t seem willing at the altar. In fact, she wanted to explain to me. I was furious at her, but walking back to the main house, I had wrap
