Elena

The sheets below me felt rough, too rough to be called a bed sheet. My eyes flutter open, taking their time to adjust to the brightness that tries to blind my eyes. It takes me a while to process where I am and recall how I got here, more like who brought me here.

“You’re up, stay still, I will heat some soup for you,” Ezekiel states the minute he walks in. I don’t respond; my mouth felt too dry, and my tongue felt too heavy. His words about my parents resounded in my head. I stand to my feet, leaving the sounds of rustling straw, with no purpose, no thoughts aside recalling Ezekiel’s last words before I passed out.

My feet lead me around the small room, the wooden floor creaking with my every step, morning light peaking from cracks in the wooden walls. So this has been Ezekiel’s hideout, this musky, crooked stable with barely a bed in the space. The bed was made with bamboo, straw, and a thin linen. The little kerosene lamp lay on the floor. Turned off, but I can tell that it

Mikhail It feels surreal–her nails digging into my shoulders as we shared a passionate kiss. As much as it felt great, Elena and I at the back seat, me between her legs, her desperation to have me stay this way, yet I can’t ignore the voice that tries kicking me back to my senses. I should be wondering why she’s all over me; she never likes me being closer to her, much less touching her, but here she is kissing me so hungrily like she…she’s going to disappear once again. I pull away, resisting the urge to take her lips again, as she breathes with her eyes barely open. “I-I still can’t believe you’re back, how?” She blinks away, turning as though she can’t stare back at me anymore. That single action from her has me drowning in a well of assumptions and questions. It can’t be that she was actually kidnapped. My fists clench against the seat, bracketing her head on either side.“Did anyone hurt you?” She still didn’t turn, but her eyes had begun to water, saying what her lips could

Mikhail The whsipers around grew louder as the familiar lavender scent draws closer. My heart races as I turn to the figure behind me. Indeed, it is Elena with a warm smile on her face, staring back at me. Chrsitian seems to be muttering something, but all my focus is on Elena. Perhaps he has walked away but I only noticed the emptiness by my side when Elena glides majestically towards me. “I thought we agreed to be special friends before the crowd, people will begin to think otherwise with the way you’re staring at me,” She whispers in my ear grabbing my glass of wine and taking a sip from it, and leaving her lipstick stain on the cup. The crowd is the least thing that mattered right now, I stretched my hands forth to caress Elena, to feel if she’s real or not. But an arm wraps around her shoulder before I can. “I must say, you’ve surprised us with your presence Ms. Jones” Darius mutters, pulling me out of a trance I didn’t know I had gotten into. The said crowd around has retu

Mikhail I eased the door open softly, cautiously making my way in. The room is dimly lit as always, it’s the only time I can face her, the only time, I don't bother seeing the disappointment and sadness written all over her face. Just like me, Honeybear had gotten attached to Elena. The first few days after Elena had gone missing, she had barely eaten. I sit at the edge of the bed under, careful not to wake her up, while I sweep her hair behind her ears. I’ve never been a good father to her, and every time I try to be, something fucks up our relationship. “Hey, honeybear,” I whisper, not expecting her to wake as I thought she was in a deep slumber, but her eyes fluttered open. Only now do I notice the wet lashes. “Daddy,” In an instant, she’s up with her arms wrapping around me. I can feel my insides melt, witnessing my babygirl heartbroken adds salt to the exposed wound that may not heal anytime soon. “I’m sorry, I should have been here with you.” My shirt soaks on my shoulder,

  • Chased By The Psychopathic Alpha   Regret

MikhailIt’s been three weeks, three weeks till I almost had Elena, and three weeks since I lost her. I had returned to a shattered house. Despite Darius thinking there’s a higher chance that she destroyed everything and fled by herself, I still stick to my belief that someone had helped her out, more like someone had taken her away. The case has been closed as Darius suggested, with someone taking the blame to ease the pack members' minds and prevent future chaos in the pack while secretly searching for Madison and her daughter. They are the ones who know the truth; they are the key to solving this case. At first, I had suspected Ezekiel, but according to leads, he was never in the hospital, he wasn’t the one who severed Mr. Jones' body parts, and he had no contact even with Elena’s parents for a long time. It was impossible to connect any dots that he was related to Mr. Jones' death. The only reason I still have him on my suspect list is the fact that he had been the one to inform

  • Chased By The Psychopathic Alpha   Elena Is Missing

MikhailI hate you. Those three words still echoed in my head, stabbing my chest continuously. I still can’t believe I’m able to function with the ache consuming from within. Ridiculous, she had said that so many times with pure disgust on her face, but I never took it to heart; I never felt the need to wage my heart against her words that seemed hurtful to the hearts of normals. Yet, here I am reminiscing about the pain that was laced with her tone, the betrayal as though she never wished for the killer to be me. But then, she still wants to believe that I’m the killer; she finds comfort in making me the villain. She can do that all she wants, but I’d rather be her enemy right now. “It’s all over the news now; someone leaked the incident with the photos to the media.” My fist clenches on the desk at Darius's report. I fucking knew that this was no usual incident. Someone is trying to fuck me up. “Have they retrieved the message from Elena’s phone?”I believe the culprit must have
