Mikhail’s gaze is so dark. He doesn’t need his pheromones to control me at this point. I’m still shaken from what happened at the cliff, and him staring down at me that way is just making it hard for me to regain control.

“C-can we get home first?”

He continues to stare down at me without responding. His lips pressed tightly.
