Thirty nine: Perplexed

The moment he moved his hand to my shirt, I gasped, but was too weak to release myself from his grip. He checked whether or not I was wearing the necklace, and when he got a confirmation I wasn't with it, he threw me from his strong hold. 

I fell to the floor, sat on it, and felt too weak to even breath. Before he had come here, I was so tired. Now that he was moving my body like I was a paper, I felt even more tired. 

"Search the entire room," he ordered his men. Without wasting time, they began scattering the room, looking for something that wasn't even here.
