~ Chapter 57 ~

Scott is by my side when I wake up. He had his eyes set on me and I'm wondering how long he's been like that. His hand takes mine in his, in a grasp.

"How did you sleep?"

"Good"

"Good morning" He leaned down to press a kiss to my lips. "the nurse was in here earlier. She did some few check ups and you're discharged"

"Oh... that's good" I seat up with his help until I rest my head on his chest.

"Storm. Can we talk? Like really talk?"

"Sure" I look into his eyes to see relief. A day ago and I wasn't willing to hear whatever he had to say. The door opened and mom came in, a smile all-over her face. I'm sure she saw how close we were but didn't mind it as she pulled me into her arms.

"Oh baby...never scare me like that again ok?"

"Yes mom"

She turns to Scott who still hasn't taken his eyes off of me and I'm glad for that.
