Caroline closed the file she was working on and turned off her computer. Her eyes were tired of reading the file for so long. Also the video calls with her clients who were obviously concerned with her absence.

She walked out of the office and found it quiet. IT wasn't that late to say so where was Xavier? Suddenly an idea strikes in her mind. Xavier would be in his office at home and she knew how hectic his routine was. And she had a better way to help him relax.

Xavier had just ended a call when he heard a knock on the door.

“Come in”. He ordered without lifting his eyes off the screen. He heard just a little clinking sound before it got absorbed by the carpet on the floor.

He closed his eyes with a small smile playing on his full lips before inhaling a sharp breath. His favorite perfume. He was about to open his eyes when a finger trailed on his neck, moving up to his jaw, cupping his cheek with a full hand, it rested in his hair.
