Chapter 6

The next morning I woke up with a stabbing pain in my abdomen. I could hardly walk due to the extreme flesh-piercing pain which spread across my stomach and my back. I had my periods, so I called my mom for help. She came to my room with a cup of hot water. Yep, hot water always helped me in relieving my pain. I took the water from my mother and drank the half cup.

"Pain killers in the cupboard, mom. Would you grab them for me ? " my trembling voice came out.

My mom handed me the tablet. I swallowed them with my remaining water and lied down.

My mother sat beside me and rubbed my stomach. I felt much relieved after that. I felt warm when she was with me. Even her sweet voice comforted me.

I sighed.

I decided to skip college and take a rest for the entire day. My mom went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for me. I decided to lie down. I couldn't even sit properly.

I felt frustrated, not able to attend the class that day. I couldn't attend
