I stayed in the lobby until the alpha king had finished what he was doing and was prepared to leave; at that point, I carried out the command that the alpha king had given me and went back to my room. Because I had already expended a significant amount of energy, I needed to make sure that I got enough rest. On the other hand, the fact that he wouldn't be around for the next few days helped me feel less anxious about the situation.

It wasn't until the wee hours of the morning that I was able to put together the number of times that I had fallen asleep. When I opened my eyes, there was a significant quantity of food laid out in a row all the way across the table. As soon as I became aware that my stomach was beginning to grumble, I leaped off the bed and immediately started eating as much food as I could possibly consume in a short amount of time.
