Chapter 5: Memories

Sebastian...

  I said his name softly, afraid that saying his name loudly would make him disappear.

  Eight years.... 

  it has been eight years since she had last seen him.

  I held the curtains so tightly my knuckles turned white. He was still looking at me, did he remember me?

  would he recognize the little omega girl he had met years ago?

  No...

  Of course he wouldn't.

  Why would he?

  That thought alone brought a bitter smile on my face.

  it was enough to reel her back into reality. 

  I stumbled from the window as if burned and immediately ran to my bed and collapsed.

  My heart beating so fast it was as if it was going to come out from my chest.

  Sebastian... I said his name again.

  I couldn't see him clearly but I knew it was him.

  I could never forget those eyes 

  Those icy husky gray eyes.

  slowly, memories that I had refused to remember all these while kept replaying in my head.

  Eight Years Ago....

  Dad are we really going to the Alpha estate? I asked, skipping between my parents, holding both their hands as we walked.

  "Yes sweetie, we are going to the Alpha's estate."

  "He has invited everyone for his son's fourteenth birthday celebration. It is Alpha's Sebastian's fourteenth birthday celebration so yes we are going to Alpha's estate."

  My emerald eyes sparkled with excitement.

  My mother smiled before gently squeezing my hands.

  "Alyssa, honey."

  "When we get there behave yourself."

  "Do not wander off to anywhere without telling either me or your dad. okay?"

  okay mummy.

  soon we reached the big black gates of the Alpha's estate.

  In front of the gates, were the Alpha's guards.

  They were searching everyone before letting them inside. when it got to our turn, they asked dad what was in the bag.

  "It's just birthday gifts for Alpha Sebastian." Dad said lowering his head.

  One of them went ahead to search the bag, and when convinced allowed us to enter.

  The guard slowly opened the gates and we entered.

  The moment I entered inside I couldn't close my mouths.

  The estate was beautiful.

  lots of lights lined each pathway 

  colorful flowers bloomed everywhere.

  The statues and portraits stood proudly.

  Everything looked magical.

  Dad... everything is so beautiful. I said excitedly.

  "Of course it is." My mother laughed softly.

  "Its the Alpha's home."

  Soon we entered the celebration hall.

  The ballroom was filled with golden lights everywhere, the marble floors looked so polished.

  Long tables covered in white cloth displaying countless delicious dishes. I could see Golden ribbons hanging from the ceilings. Music playing softly, everyone was so relaxed and having fun.

  so pretty... I whispered to my self.

  "Dear, I can see my friend over there."

  "I'll go say hi." my dad said to mummy.

  "Okay be careful." my mom said.

  He patted my head and walked away.

  "Aly, do you want to eat anything?" my mom asked me.

  yes, I immediately nodded.

  "okay, I'll go get you something to eat, stay right here, don't go anywhere." 

  I just simply nodded my head still looking at the many lights.

  satisfied my mother walked towards the banquet tables.

  Something caught by eye.

  A few children were playing by the garden without thinking twice, I walked off to join them.

  The garden was full with flowers that I'm sure I had never seen before. It gave out a sweet fragrance, I loved it.

  I walked a few steps and reached where they are.

  Hi..... I'm Alyssa, can I join you to play? 

  "No we don't want to play with an omega, go away" A fat boy spoke up.

  I looked between them confused.

  Before I could say another thing, another one spoke up.

  " why would we want to play with you, you're gross, leave here now."

  "Didn't you hear!!" 

  "We don't want you here, get out." he said.

  Before I could register anything, he pushed me to the ground.

  "HEY!!" A voice called out from behind me 

  "what are you doing to her?" I could feel him walking towards us.

  "Why are you bullying her?" he said turning to the guys.

  We just don't want her to play with us, the fat boy stammered.

  "You don't want to play with her, then GET LOST!!"

  His voice very loud even I too got scared.

  They all scattered, running behind one another screaming.

  He turned to me, and extended his hands.

  Now I could finally see his face, and he was the most handsome boy id ever seen.

  He had midnight black hair that was styled backward, contrasting sharply with his flawless fair skin, he had long lashes that only a girl could have, thick brows, perfect lips, he was really tall and leanly built, Long legs and broad shoulders. He was very fit. But what stood out the most was his eyes... He had captivating icy husky gray eyes that looked as if he could freeze anyone just by looking at them. if he hadn't just helped me now, I would have thought he couldn't show any warmth.

  "My hand is still stretched out you know." He said looking at me.

  I immediately grabbed his hands, He had really soft hands, he was just perfect.

  Thank you for saving me, I said shyly.

  " I didn't save you." he said sharply.

  He lifted me up, and held me steady.

  He led me to the bench in the garden and sat me down.

  "Are you hurt?" he asked looking at me from head to down.

  No. I'm very brave I said smiling.

  He sat down besides me still looking at me.

  "What's your name?" He asked me 

  My name is Alyssa, Alyssa Ross. What's your name?

  "I'm Sebastian Cole, future heir of the blood moon pack and you are in my house he said proudly."

  You are the Alpha's son?

  Today is your duties fourteenth birthday, I said again.

  " Yes." He answered again proudly.

  Okay. I simply said.

  "Okay, is that all you have to say."

  Yes, to me you're just Sebastian.

  And i am Alyssa.

  Let's be friends I said clapping my hands excitedly.

  "Holdon, I can't just be friends with you." Sebastian said 

  Why..? I asked sadly 

  "Where's your gift for me?" 

  "We won't be friends until you give me my birthday gift."

  I didn't bring any gift for you, I said looking down.

  "Then we can't be friends." he said smirking.

  Wait!! My mom and dad brought gifts for you, I'll go tell them to bring it to you I said immediately standing up.

  He held me down and sat me back again.

  I looked at him, confused.

  "The gift has to come from you, or it won't matter." He said again.

  I looked down again sadly swinging my legs.

  Then I remembered the gray stone in my clothe pocket.

  Wait!! I have a gift for you, my eyes lighting up.

  I brought out the stone from my pocket and gave it to him happily.

  "A stone?!!" 

  "You're giving the future Alpha a stone for his birthday?"

  It's not just a stone I said offended, I got it from the river side and look it matches with your eyes perfectly. Gray eyes, Gray stone I said clapping happily.

  " Alright fine fine, I'll accept it." He said taking it from my hands. 

  He was acting as if he didn't like it, but I could see the small smile showing on his face.

  This means we're friends now I said jumping up and down.

  Are we friends now?? I asked making the cutest eyes I could ever.

  "Alright, We're friends." He said fully smiling now.

  I immediately hugged him with my little hands.

  He didn't know it, but he was the very first I ever had.

  I thought we'd be friends forever, if only I knew.
