Lucien pov

Now I regret destroying the evidence that Lily gave me at the school back then. I was furious and didn't want anything to do with her cause her brother hurt my mate.

Also, I didn't want to be close to her cause I knew her feelings toward me were complicated.

Now I’m lurking around Selene’s house. I've been on her trail for the past few days.

I need something to teach her a lesson—just a flaw.

I was at the other house's rooftop, watching everything that was unfolding in her house.

Not long after, a car pulled over with two dudes coming out. They murmured some words amongst themselves, and the other dude walked inside.

Maybe that was his brother, but why am I feeling so uneasy when a small voice whispered in my head that the dude might be her lover?

I tilted my gaze away. That's none of my business.

I swallowed, darting my gaze to the phone in my hands.
