In the hushed stillness, I activated the device and when its frequency struck Nicholas's face, his head disintegrated into atomic dust, leaving behind a charred mark on his neck. The woman sleeping beside him remained blissfully unaware, her breath steady and undisturbed. Perhaps they were exhausted from the night's earlier activities.

I silently made my way out and returned to my transparent flying capsule on the top of the castle, activating my GPS and contacting Linda, my assistant. "How many of the old royal generals do we still need to take down tonight?" I inquired.

"Four to go, Master," she responded crisply.

The night stretched before me, full of tasks. I piloted the capsule at breakneck speed, akin to a jet, slicing through the darkness. Upon reaching the next location, I used the smart device’s frequency to dissolve the wall into dust, stealthily entered, and eliminated the general, leaving no
