Karl pulled a little bit of his left sleeve, checking the watch on his smartwatch on his left wrist. It was eight o'clock in the evening and he still had not seen Nikki's presence. The air outside at night feels much cooler than when it was noon. Maybe it was autumn and he was not in the car. His feelings were starting to feel bad. He took out the smartphone which he tucked in his pocket inside of the grey suit he was currently wearing, opened his smartphone screen to view his text with Nikki. There was still no response since fifteen minutes he texted Nikki, informing her that he had arrived. Should he go into the apartment building to pick her up while checking on her? It could be something bad happen with that woman, although he did not feel another aura than his and the vampire aura of the Pedrosa clan was stationed to guard Nikki, so there was no way the enemy would attack that woman without their knowledge.
