Selene Willows

I paced the small walls of my room with bile sitting squarely in the back of my throat.

All this time I’d wasted planning my comeback when I should have been plotting for a bloody revenge!

The tears that had dried on my cheeks tore when I swiped at it, its salty mask itching my skin.

I drew down the thick cotton coat on the rail, draping it around my shoulders and pushing through the small door of my room.

“The nerve of them to put me in this hell hole when that Mara bitch was off in one of the luxury suites, enjoying steam baths and shit!” I cursed under my breath, wrenching the coat tighter around my body when I stepped into the slow drizzling rain of the square.

The slow burn of nicotine from the cigarette I had in my fingers faded when the rain doused it and I cursed again, my gaze narrowing on the distant string of soldiers barricading the stony cave mouth.

Of all the structures to build around their dungeons, they had to go and choose the ugliest vagina they could

Amara EldwoodThe rooftop was buzzing with soft piano music, laughter, and the dizzying swirl of the fire torch lights beneath us. I should have been kicking back and throwing up my legs in the chaos, enjoying the wild freedom of the party, and the way the night air made my skin tingle. Ravishing how the four men I loved circled around me like I was the singular blazing sun in their orbit. But instead, a sudden, violent wave of nausea slammed into me, and before I could even think to steady myself, I was doubled over the edge, retching into the cool night air.I wiped my mouth with trembling hands, swallowing hard against the queasy churn in my stomach. What is wrong with me?I thought, panic rising. It wasn’t just the drink or the heat of the night. Something deeper, something unfamiliar was stirring inside me.“I’m fine,” I said, forcing a smile, trying to sound lighthearted. “Just a little sick, that’s all.” But the four pairs of eyes fixed on me were anything but convinced.D

Ronan IronsideThe stone walls of my tower were cold, unyielding, and merciless. Much like the stone weight in my heart. They pressed in on me, shrinking the space until it felt like a cage. Outside, the fortress was alive with noise, the clang of hammers on stone, the murmur of voices, the bustle of servants preparing for the wedding. My wedding…our wedding. But none of it reached me here, in this silent coffin of regret and solitude.I sat on the edge of my narrow cot, my hands clasped tightly between my knees, knuckles white. The bandage around my head itched beneath the coarse linen of my hood, but I ignored it, flicking the silver lighter I held in my hand and dragging in the nicotine burn of the cigar I held between my lips. My mind was a storm of memories and guilt, swirling relentlessly. How had it come to this? How had I, Ronan, the one who swore to protect, become the one who ignited the flames of war? How had I let that witch Selene blind me and ruin things so fatall

Dante MilburnThe world was a blur of shadows and dull pain when I first managed to screw my eyes open.“Fuck,” I cursed wildly, hating the way pain stabbed into my skull like lobotomy needles, rooting around dep behind my arms until I gritted my teeth to will the torture away.Where was I?A quick glance around the luxurious room confirmed my suspicions. The harsh sting beneath the bandage wrapped tightly around my head reminded me immediately of the battle—the chaos, the blood, the desperate fight to survive and the wet rattle of dying breaths. My body felt heavy, as if the weight of the war’s wreckage had settled inside my bone marrow, dragging me down with its depressing weight.Until I saw her. My mate. My Mara. Her face was the first thing my eyes found in the dimly lit room, and it was like a siren searchlight cutting away the darkness. Her red curls framed her porcelain face like a wild dancing flame, tumbling in soft waves that caught the pale morning light filtering through

Ronan IronsideThe air was thick with smoke and the fucking metallic stink of blood. Red… so much red that I barely noticed it now.I barely did. I was so angry, so filled with rage that its black fingers slipped from the residual well in my gut and spread around my body in an inky…desperate film. All I saw was Selene, hovering in the air like she owned this goddamn fortress, her back turned to me. The red Hades portal behind her pulsed like some snarling beast, hungry and pissed off. My sword felt like it weighed a ton in my hands heavier than it ever had before, as if it knew what I was about to do…What I had to do.And what it was going to cost me.I moved slow, careful, like a shadow sneaking through the wreckage of a world that was already dead, with vultures sucking up what remained of its bones. My boots barely made a sound on the cracked stone floor slick with blood and ash and brain matter that i’d rather not have to stare too closely at.She never saw me coming. Selene.

Laziel BrahmThe stench hit me first—copper and rotting meat, thick enough to coat my tongue with it. My arm was trembling from hours of fighting, the blade's edge chipped and dulled from cleaving through bone. The battle had left its marks everywhere - shattered blackstone walls steaming where dark magic had eaten through the battlements, the still-twitching corpses of Selene's abominations piled like wood, and the ever-present coppery tang that made every breath taste like butchered meat.Around us, the fortress walls were almost empty, and the dim light of the shadowed moon streamed through cracks like liquid silver. Adrian crouched in the rubble, his too-thin frame wracked with tremors. The resemblance to Mara was almost sinful. The same high nose and wide, full lips, but where her eyes burned green with life, his were...empty. Milky white, like a corpse left floating in river water. Blind and bloated. Then the sky tore open all of a sudden and I felt the fortress wither aro

Dante MilburnThe coppery taste of blood filled my mouth as Kiernan's claws sank deeper into my side. I could feel every ragged inch of those cursed claws twisting through muscle, scraping against bone as white hot pain flashed behind my eyes.Hot blood poured down my ribs, soaking into my cotton shirt, but I barely registered the pain. Not when Ronan's dagger flashed under the waning moonlight, cutting through Kiernan's thickened throat faster than he could say jackrabbit. For one tensed beat, we stayed like that…frozen in a grotesque embrace, his golden eyes wide with shock, mine burning with ten years' worth of vengeance. Serves you fucking right you white-haired pig.The Shadow Alpha’s blood gushed over Ronan's steady hand, dripping onto the broken stones between us. I could feel Kiernan's heartbeat through those claws of his, each frantic pulse vibrating against my ribs like a dying man's heart drum. "Looks like..." I rasped, spitting out a mouthful of blood that splattered
