Jessica/Tessa pov.

I gave the order for the guards to take Paige to the interrogation room. She didn’t know I was already there, standing just around the corner with Zane. From where we stood, we could see her through the bars but she couldn’t see us.

Paige looked calm at first. Too calm. Her face showed nothing but boredom, like she was used to this kind of thing. She even rolled her eyes when one of the guards pushed her into the chair.

“Still think she’s innocent?” Zane murmured beside me.
