ログインZane’s pov;I didn’t remember how I strayed from the vault. One moment I was staring into that hallucination of Jessica being dragged into the spring by black mist, and the next, I was awake and was running towards the vault and then…..Nothing!
Tessa/Jessica’s pov;I kept moving, pushing the image of a wounded and lonely Zane out of my mind. I tried to ignore how my wolf kept pacing inside me.With every few step, she let out a low grumble.
Zane’s pov;“Zane! Zane!! Zane!!”I groaned and turned around slowly. Why was Jessica calling out my name so frantically? And why does she sound so far away?My eyelids fluttered open and I blinked once, then twice, suddenly realizing where I was and how I had come to be here.

It wasn’t the feeling of fear or of someone watching. It was more like someone yanking me back and I stopped. I didn’t understand this and I knew well enough to trust my gut.“What—” My breath hitched in my throat as my knees suddenly felt too weak to carry me. “What’s wrong?”My wolf didn’t answer at first. She just pushed hard, as though she was trying to force me back.‘Don’t go.’The words sounded almost painful and I furrowed my brows. Zane was in danger, we had to save him and my wolf who should’ve been even more eager than I was could say this?“I have to,” I whispered. “Zane’s at the borde
