Chapter 52 - Who's The Boss?

Jessi's P.O.V.

I walk over to the rogue, still bleeding out on the ground. The blade I used is specifically made to kill wolves and lycans. It has a protective film, so it won't harm me. However, once it enters the body of a wolf or lycan, the film dissolves, and silver releases into their system. I squat down next to him and pull my knife out of his head, careful not to touch the blade. He's not my first kill and won't be my last.

"Good job, little wolf." I look up and see the recruits I'd tried out with, including the jerk who called me 'little wolf.' I don't like being called little wolf. Do I look like a pup? I stand up with my blade in my hand.

"Thanks, but don't call me little wolf," I say, turning around to walk over to where Wyatt is standing with the king and queen. The man grabs my arm and stops me.
