Chapter forty-one
[Carlos]
The plane that I ride just landed back here in Florida. I arrived here at exact 6:30 a.m. now in the morning. I only got my few things in my backpack and I'm holding the phone of my wife. Christmas didn't find this because I hide this where she can't find. As I opened her phone, there are lots of missed calls coming from Duke and that's the time she was missing. But I didn't mind it all. The only thing caught my attention was her one message using my phone. She really came back here without me. Tsk.

[Christmas] After I cried all my tears, I get off the bed with my weary eyes. I walked at my closet and took the cellphone of auntie that I saw on her room. I know it is wrong to take this because the police can use this in solving the case but I don't have any choice. [Christmas] It's been four hours since Duke left to work at the company. I stuck myself here in our room, staring in the cellphone of auntie, hoping it'll still work but seems it's already gave up. I feel bored and helpless here in the house. I feel like I only got myself in this situation which is true.
