Chapter 6

Meanwhile, Rhoda and Jeff's mom, Rosa, are seen sitting together in Mikealson’s mansion, laughing.  They looked so happy.

“I'm glad I finally got rid of Hannah for good. My son just wouldn't want to leave her alone. Even though he knows she's cursed and she eats her kids, that's why all the children she gave birth to died. Witch like her. Who knew she was going to end up being barren” Rosa said in a disgusting tone making Rhoda smile. 

Rosa knew she was the one behind what Hannah had gone through. Only she and the nurse she paid knew about what she has done.

“Hannah is cursed. She killed her mother when she was a child. That’s why she had no relative or family members” Rhoda said and Rosa opened her eyes wide.

“Oh my goodness!! I knew it!! She killed her mother and she lied she had cancer and died. I wonder where Jeff picked her from. I’m glad she’s gone for good, now you can be my daughter in law. And I’m glad you gonna give me an heir, finally “ Rosa muttered and Rhoda giggled happily and just then she frowned. 

“Hey, what’s wrong? Why are you frowning? Aren’t you happy she’s out of our lives for good?” Rosa asked 

“No no, of course I’m happy. It’s just that Jeff still seems to care about her. He’s out there searching for her” Rhoda said with a sad face. 

“It’s up to you not to make him forget about Hannah for good. You seduced him in the first place, so I’m sure you know what to do next. I’ll do my part” Rosa said and Rhoda smiled. 

She stared around and noticed it was only she and Rosa in the room and the maids who were busy passing by. 

“Oh, my stomach , it hurts!” Rhoda yelled and Rosa rushed towards her. 

“Oh my goodness!! Someone call the doctor and help me take her upstairs“ Rosa yelled and the maids came running in. 

They helped carry Rhoda to Jeff’s room upstairs. Rosa quickly picked up her phone and called Jeff.

“Hello Jeff, Rhoda came to find you at home today, she suddenly started having an abdominal pain. Im scared she’s going to loose her baby” Rosa said sounding so tensed. 

“I’ll be there in a jiffy “ Jeff said and ended the call immediately.

Rosa smiled and went upstairs to Jeff’s room where she met Rhoda lying on the bed.

“I called him already, he’s on his way here” Rosa said and suddenly they heard Jeff’s voice from downstairs. 

“He’s here. This means he wasn’t far from home” Rosa said and Rhoda quickly closed her eyes and pretended to be asleep. 

Just then the door burst open revealing Jeff. 

“Mom, how’s she? How’s the baby? Have you called the doctor?” Jeff asked as he walked in. 

“Calm down son. I called the doctor, he just left not quite long. She and the baby is fine. The doctor said she’s just stressed and just needs enough rest and she will be fine” Rosa said and Jeff gave out a breath of relief. 

If there was one thing he didn’t want, he didn’t want Rhoda to loose the baby. All he wanted was just a child , it would make him the most happiest man on earth. 

He’s willing to do anything for Rhoda just to make sure she gives birth sound and safety.

“Have you found Hannah yet?” Rosa asked . She knew Jeff had left home to go find Hannah and she began to wonder if he had found her yet.

“No,  I tried looking for her but I don’t think she’s in Atlanta. I heard a woman came with a black car and took her away. I tried to find out the identity of this woman but I just couldn’t. I checked all the hospitals but she isn’t in anyone of them” Jeff said and Rosa sighed softly. 

“Then you should forget about her and focus on Rhoda. Besides she’s pregnant and she needs you by her side. You should take care of her and forget Hannah. You had wanted to get rid of her a long time ago now is finally the time” Rosa said and Jeff swallowed hard. 

He truly had wanted to get rid of Hannah . He wanted an heir but she just couldn’t give him an heir. The doctor had declared her barren, All he wanted was to divorce her and still give her fifty percent of the things he had. 

He knew Hannah had no one or any family to go to. He began to wonder where she is or maybe she’s probably dead. 

But on a second thought, he thinks everything is for the best. He should just get married to Rhoda and forget about Hannah. 

“Make arrangements for I and Rhoda’s wedding. I’m getting married to her” Jeff said and Rosa smiled. 

“That’s the son I raised” she thought as she stared at Jeff. She known Jeff to have anger issues and when he gets angry he can kill her even though she was his mother but there was one thing Rosa was so sure of, her son loves her so much and would do anything she tells him to. 

“I found this. Someone who saw the woman take Hannah said it fell from Hannah” Jeff said as he brought out a bracelet from his pocket and gave it to her mother.

His mother took the bracelet and starred at it disgustingly. She didn’t want anything to do with Hannah at all. 

Just then Jeff heard his phone ring and then walked out of the room.

Meanwhile, Rhoda who was lying on the bed pretending to be asleep, smiled inwardly, she’s finally going to be Jeff’s wife. She could not believe. She felt so happy that she had wanted to scream but she had to pretend she was asleep. 

Now, she’s finally going to enjoy all the riches and wealth Hannah had been enjoying all those years. 

She opened her eyes and stared at Rosa who was staring at the bracelet. 

“I’m going to dump this” Rosa said and Rhoda quickly took it from her. 

“No, I’ll keep it. This looks so expensive “ Rhoda said and Rosa rolled her eyes at her. 

“We better start making arrangements for your wedding”

Hannah is seen walking down the stairs looking so beautiful. She had wore the gown Arianna had told her to wear.

Arianna who was sitting at the dinning table smiled as she saw how beautiful Hannah was looking. She truly look so much like her daughter, Cinderella. 

“You look beautiful Cinderella” Arianna said and Hannah smiled and sat on a vacant chair close to her.

“Thank you ma’am “ Hannah said and Arianna smiled. 

“I think it’s high time you start addressing me as mom” Arianna said and Hannah joined her lips together, she glanced at Arianna for some seconds and then nodded. 

“Thank you mom” she said and Arianna smiled. She just love this lady Hannah so much. She didn’t know why but she just love everything about her. 

Just then Arianna heard her phone vibrate. It was a text message from her personal investigator in Atlanta. She frowned as she read the message.

“Is everything alright?” Hannah asked as she noticed the look on her face.

“It’s Jeff, he’s getting married to Rhoda next tomorrow” Arianna said and Hannah blinked twice as she felt like a sharp knife has been pierced into her heart. 

Despite the fact that Jeff had ruined her life, she was supposed to hate him but truth is , she still love him. And she haven’t been gone for up to a week and he’s already planning his wedding with her best friend. 

Hannah felt so hurt. Arianna noticed the look on her face. She shouldn’t have told her about it, she could see Hannah was deeply hurt and it pained her heart. 

“You should forget about them for now. When the time comes you’ll get the revenge you ever wanted” Arianna said and placed her hands on top Hannah’s. 

Hannah smiled at her. 

“I’ll be attending a party tomorrow. Prominent men and women of New York City would be there, I’m going to introduce them to you as my daughter. So first thing tomorrow, you’ll be going for shopping with me” Arianna said and Hannah smiled at her and nodded in response. 

“And I have a company here in new York. I’ll be making you the new CEO, so you will  resume anytime you feel like” Arianna said and Hannah stared at her speechlessly. 

“Why are you doing all this for me? You barely know me” Hannah said 

“I just want to help you Hannah. You deserve the best Hannah” Arianna said and Hannah nodded. 

Just then a maid arrived holding a package in her hands. 

“Ma’am the package you ordered for has arrived” the maid said with her head bowed. 

“Oh! Thank you” Arianna said and took it from the maid and then gave it to Hannah, who collected it immediately.

“What’s inside?” Hannah asked 

“See for yourself” Arianna said and Hannah gave her one glance before opening the package and to her surprise she saw a phone, and a laptop. An expensive wrist watch too and some other gadgets she could barely recognize and know the use. 

“It’s all yours” Arianna said as she noticed the surprise look on Hannah’s face. 

“Isn’t this too much? All this are so expensive “ Hannah said and Arianna smiled. 

“Welcome to the land of wealth and riches , honey. Nothing is too expensive when money is involved”
