Chapter 2

Just like that. My feet became capable of moving on their own. I don't have an idea why I'm following this man like he's my guardian and I'll be completely lost if I fail to keep his track.

With my head down. The only thing that I can see is  the movement of his feet. I was seconds late when I realize that he stopped moving. I bumped my forehead on his back. I felt it, his body is as hard as mountain rocks. This man's body is built to last in any situation and condition, almost like a medieval knight's body.

My hand crawl up on my forehead. I start rubbing it unconsciously while my eyes are still pasted on the man before me.

He tilted his head and took a threatening step towards me. Quickly, I took a step back but he keeps on coming forward, cutting our distance till I finally lost my balance. I was certain that I will fall on the ground so when my body didn't hit the floor full of small marbles that will surely hurt and bruish me. I gaze up on the man who's passionately holding my hand like a knight and prince charming in one.

I thought my world stop spinning around but when he harshly pull my hand to help me get back on my feet. Realization hit me that though there's monarchy in my time, there's king, queen, prince, princess and knight. We're certainly not characters from a fairytale book.

"Ouch. You're holding my arm." I walk towards him, one step. I lifted my arm so he can take a closer look. Maybe then it will hit him that the thing he grabbed earlier is an arm. It has muscle tissues, vein and it's capable of feeling pain, it can be injured, "See? It's an arm. My arm, not some rope or war weapon. You're too intense, don't you know how to be gentle?" I scoffed at him.

Mr. Knight, right. That's what I'm going to call him because it seems like he don't plan on telling me his name even if this night deepens more or finally come to its end.

"I can't do anything about it. No one taught me how to be gentle, princess." My eyes widens when I heard it. As fast as I could, I look around. It was a relief that we're away from everyone and no one heard him. My eyes are still in full panic when I look back at him.

Princess. He just called me princess. He knows me? I mean, how did he managed to recognize me? It's a little bit dark out here and I'm sure that I look different.

I pointed at myself, "Me? A princess? Did you call me princess? Why did you call me that?" Mr. Knight casually move his shoulder once.

"They love it when I call them princess. You're the first one who didn't seem to enjoy it." A smile yet again popped on my lips.

Okay. He just called me princess because he thought I would like it too. He called me by my title thinking that it will be a cute nickname. Thank God, I only asked and didn't tell him my identity. Like everyone else in this party, no one knows that I'm Fenry's princess except my brother Malik who is a prince too. Great, everything is still alright.

"One. Two. One. Two. Three let the beat drop!" Everyone in the whole villa shouted and in cue to that is a beat of eargasmic electro-dance music that hype up everyone but me. While they were busy swaying their hips and grooving their whole body with their hands on mid-air and plastic cups filled with alcoholic beverage on it. My hands on the other hand are covering my ears.

The music is really nice but it's too loud for my preference. If I don't leave this place, I'm sure the loud music will trigger my migraine.

"Do you want me to take you where the music ain't too loud?" he asked. I stare at him in awe, my mouth, half-opened. He told me earlier that no one taught him to be gentle but I beg to disagree. His thoughtfulness is one of the reason why I can confidently say that he's gentle. Mr Knight is a gentle giant.

I offer him my hand. Mr Knight chuckled heartily before he takes it and drag me somewhere far from this night life.

"Villa's parking lot?" I could taste the bitterness on my mouth as I spit out those words. I know I really look stupid right now because I really thought that he'll bring me somewhere—somewhere that is better than this.

Mr. Knight laughs at the pure annoyance flashing on my face. The beer on his bottle run out. He left the bottle on the hood of a red car.

"Why? Do you have an expectation, princess? Let me hear it. I might be able to make it happen," he said in whisper, barely audible. I did hear everything that he told me but I was busy with something else. I was too busy to admire those cupid bow's like lips of him that moves smoothly as he speaks to me.

I've never had a dirty though for the passed eighteen years of my life but right now. I am filled by it.

I could not stop myself from wondering how expert those lips could be. What it felt like to have it on my neck, for his lips to claim mine.

"Eli?" My senses came back. I stood up straight. I tried to redeem my composure but everything about him is distracting me. At this exact moment, I want to do something stupid, something I might regret later on but for now, I really don't care.

I pushed my luck and gave it a try. I tip-toed for a quick kiss. By the way he narrowed his eyes on me. I know that he's expecting me to do it, he's anticipating for it.

"How old are you again?" he asked, the least thing that I expect to hear from him, "You turned me on and I don't plan to fuck someone who's minor, so tell me, how old are you?"
