Selene's POV

I looked up. The man beside me was devastatingly handsome.

Dark hair, intense brown eyes, an expensive suit that screamed power. He radiated confidence, the kind that made people either fear you or fall for you.

“You look like you need something stronger, but I wouldn't advice a pretty lady takes much.”

His eyes that held me still. Dark. Intense. Like he saw straight through me.

I swallowed. “Yeah but I don’t usually drink.”

His gaze flicked to my untouched glass. “That obvious”

He paused and then spoke out “Let me guess,” he murmured. “A man?”

I exhaled. “How do you know?”

He smirked. “Because no lady drinks alone like this unless they’re trying to forget someone.”

I studied him. “And you? What are you trying to forget?”

His expression didn’t change. “I don’t forget.”

A shiver ran down my spine at his words. I turned back to my drink, swallowing another sip.

The alcohol burned, but it wasn’t enough to erase the ache inside me.

"What's your name?" He inquired for a brief moment and I creased my brows slightly.

"Selene" I answered curtly.

"Do you want to go home now?" He suddenly asked.

“I don’t have a home anymore,” I muttered, more to myself than him.

The man frowned slightly. “What?”

I exhaled. “Nothing. I just… I don’t want to go back to my home at the moment, anywhere but not there.”

Silence stretched between us. Then, his voice, low, measured. “Do you want me to take you to my place instead? Don't worry, I don't bite.”

I hesitated. Then, shook my head. “ If you feel comfortable doing that, I would appreciate”

His eyes darkened slightly, studying me. He didn’t ask questions. He simply nodded and stood up, helping me stand up as we walked out of bar into his car.

Few moments later, the sleek black car stopped in front of a towering estate.

I barely noticed as he helped me out of the car, guiding me inside.

The house was quiet. The air smelled like his expensive cologne. I swayed slightly on my steps, the alcohol finally catching up to me.

But he steadied me. “You should rest.”

I let him lead me into a guest bedroom. The bed was large, the sheets crisp.

He turned to leave, but I caught his wrist.

“Stay please,” I whispered, the effects of the alcohol getting into my head stronger than before as I suddenly felt hot.

His jaw tightened. “Selene—”

I rose onto my toes, brushing my lips against his and he froze.

Then, with a quiet curse, he pulled back. “You’re not thinking straight, I don't take advantage of drunk women”

But I wasn't thinking.

For the first time tonight, I wasn’t drowning. I was strangely burning for his touch.

I reached for him again, this time fisting his shirt, pulling him down to myself.

He inhaled sharply, his restraint hanging by a thread as I could feel he was already growing hard in his pants.

My lips parted, my breath warm against his mouth.

"Just this night and I'll disappear, no complications, besides I want this” I whispered, as my hands moved to the hem of my dress, pulling it off from my body, standing completely naked before him.

Something in him snapped the moment his gaze ran down my body, he lost control. His hands cupped my face suddenly, his lips crashing against mine.

The kiss wasn’t gentle. It was fierce, desperate—like he had been waiting for this moment.

I gasped as his fingers slid down backside, pressing me flush against him.

I had never been kissed like this. Never been touched like this.

His grip tightened, but he pulled back, breathing heavily.

“We shouldn’t do this,” he rasped. " Please, tell me to stop"

My fingers tangled in his hair.

“I don’t care, I don't want you to stop~”

He exhaled harshly, then crashed his lips to mine again as he pulled off his own shirt, carrying me up against the wall, his hard cock grinding my parted thighs, feeling the heated friction.

I threw my head back in pleasure as he buried his head in my chest, kissing my cleavages until he finally moved away from the wall with me and dropped me on the bed. Settling in between my already exposed entrance, he thrust in.
