Regardless of the heaps of files on my desk, I wasn’t working anymore. The numbers, the clauses, royal matters, none of it made any difference. All I could think about it was Harley, that omega from the human bar.

The way she had looked at me, and the way she ignored me, everything was carved on my soul, replaying all the scenes in a repeat mode in my mind.
