Chapter 183

Kaia's POV

“Allie!” I screamed, running to her crumbled form.

Her body was sprawled on the ground. She looked fragile, a shadow of her former self, with sunken eyes and pale skin that was covered with bruises, with dark circles under her eyes. Hearing my loud voice, she flinched, moving backwards.

“Princess!” Ryder called, reaching to carry her but before he could touch her, I snapped. “Don't touch her.”

He looked at me, pain in his eyes and my heart went out to him, but it needed to be done. “Go back to the Pack, Nessa is definitely the one there. I'll take care of Allie.” I promised him.

If Allie was here, it meant Nessa was the one in the Pack which was completely different from what we first thought. She wasn't controlling Allie, she changed her form just like the witch said she would be able to once she was eighteen. I had Ryder go back to the Pack and pretend he could feel ‘Allie’ in pain, to distract Nessa from what was actually going on.

Chapter 184Kaia’s POV The next day came faster than I wanted it to. With all the preparation, it felt like I…and everyone else barely got a wink of sleep. It was exhausting to say the least. Caleb took care of the invitations to the elders and Alphas, while Dylan and Ryder took care of security. Dani was in charge of decorations and everything related while Nora had the other Omegas ready to start working on the menus. She was quickly getting into the position of being Beta's mate and it was good to see. Allie didn't have to do anything since we didn't want to give away the fact that Nessa's cover had been blown. “I'm going to get started on your makeup now.” Dani announced, as she began touching my face. And for some reason, even though this was the initial plan, I still felt a little bit of excitement bubbling on my inside, at the thought of making everything official. When I first suggested having the ceremony today, it felt like I was out of my mind, but Kieran i

  • Claimed By The Lycan King    The Other Allie

Chapter 182 Kaia’s POV They stared at me, their brows furrowed in confusion and for a brief moment, I wondered if I was confused as well. Kieran was the first person to snap out of it, taking my hand into his, like he wanted to break a news to me, probably tell me I was reading too much meaning into it. “Bella,” he started, “why do you think she's under a spell?” He asked instead, and the others nodded. So I began by explaining my conversation with Ryder and how I thought Allie was pregnant and offered to talk to her, since in a way, I knew what she was going through. “But she snapped at me…that has never happened before.” I told them. “I know that doesn't give anything to say she's under a spell, but something felt off.” I told them how she never calls me ‘Luna Kaia' and I doubt she even calls me Luna. With her, it was always my name because according to her, I was the sister she always wanted. And for Kieran, she either called him by his name as well or referred to him

Chapter 181 Kaia’s POV I waited for him to get to where I was standing, but he didn't notice me until I tapped his arms gently, which snapped him out of whatever realm he was in. “I'm sorry, Luna, I didn't see you.” He murmured. “You look like you haven't slept properly in days…and confused. Are you okay?” I asked, after assuring him that it was okay that he hadn't noticed me. He already looked like he had a lot going on for him, I didn't want to add to that. He shook his head, “I don't know…I think I am.” He replied. When he didn't say anything else, I pulled his hand and led him to the pavilion that now felt more like a place to discuss and solve relationship problems...our therapy center. The bodyguards weren't far from me, but in their own way, they were trying to give me some privacy. “Does this have anything to do with Allie? The girls said they've barely seen her this week and she only came to see me once. Did something happen?” I asked again. He sighed, “I don't

Chapter 180Kaia's POV It's been a week since the whole kidnapping episode with Aiden and I was surprisingly calm about everything. The only thing that was still a mystery to me was how I was able to throw Aiden against the wall and also open the door without touching either of them. Kieran was certain it was just like the last time when I developed a shield in the face of danger but I thought otherwise. “What are you doing?" Kieran asked, coming to sit beside me, pulling me into his arms, the warmth enveloping me. A faint smell of sweat filled my nostrils. I still wasn't allowed to do anything and two warriors were permanently stationed outside the door whether or not Kieran was around. I shrugged, “I found these new designs, I think the twins are going to like them." I said, raising it high enough for him to see. “What do you think?" “It's beautiful, I'm sure they'll love it." He replied and I snorted, “you're not even looking at it." He chuckled lightly, h

Chapter 179 Dylan's POV (After he leaves to call his former Pack) Kaia better be okay if not I was going to kill Aiden. Hell, he was dead either way. I stormed out of the office, Caleb following behind me. He was equally as angry as I was…I don't think anyone wasn't angry. The worst mistake Aiden could ever make was to lay his hands on her and he was going to regret it once I caught him. A part of me felt guilty seeing how she had mindlinked me to meet her in the hospital which I did. But maybe if I'd run a bit faster, nothing would've happened. “Do you think she's fine?” Caleb asked, once we were a good distance from the office, and I paused to look at him. “Of course,” I replied, “Kaia is strong and we're going to find her once we do, we're going to make sure nothing happens to her again.” I assured him. It was more of a determination from myself than anything. One of the mistakes we made was letting our guards down after putting both Gerald and Felix in the dun
