Chapter 130

Kaia's POV

“Let me get this straight," I began, my eyes darting to Dylan on the bed and back to the siblings, who just told me what has to be the most insane tale I've heard in all of my existence and as weird as it sounded, the proof was right in front of me.

“I have the ability to form a shield if I'm in danger?" I asked, and the siblings nodded.

“It was so cool…shocking and confusing at first, but you kinda get used to it.” Allie said, smiling widely.

I turned to Kieran because for someone who was thrown against the wall just the previous day, she was sounding way too cheerful for my confused self, who was trying to make sense of everything they told me.

Apparently, seeing Dylan get hurt somehow triggered my protective side which caused me to release the shield. And it wasn't just any shield, as the moment it came upon them, it began to heal them as well, which was one of reasons Dylan was alive.

"Do you think the moon goddess is using me as an experime

Chapter 176 Kieran's POV I looked between Caleb and Dylan who was dragging the Pack doctor by the collar of his coat, not paying attention to the fact that he was visibly trembling or that it was causing a scene. If looks could kill, he would be long gone. “When you say she's not here, what the fucking hell do you mean by that?” King asked, taking over. And without waiting for an answer, I rushed past them into the hospital and straight to the room that was reserved for her, but it was empty. The bed looked like she had slept on it and her phone was on the table beside the bed. I couldn't feel anything from her, which frustrated me. “You better start talking!” He ordered, fighting the urge to rip him apart. The doctor fell to the ground, trembling. “Luna was h-here, I checked her and told her she was fine and only needed a drip t-to help her r-rest better.” He explained, “I told one of the nurses to give it to her…that's all I know.” I ran a hand through my hair, pa

Chapter 175Kaia's POV I jolted awake, my eyes slowly opening, moving around the room but everything was dark making it impossible to figure out what was going on. The air around me felt heavy and my body felt weak. My head throbbed with each passing second. I tried to sit up, but my muscles had a mind of their own as they didn't bulge, making me fall back to the bed. “How long was I out?” I thought, massaging my temple as I felt dread rising inside me as the memories of what happened came rushing back. The nurse…I remembered asking her a question but I couldn't remember what her answer was, but I knew now that she did something to me, to the drip she'd given me. Using my hand, I searched blindly for anything familiar but nothing. The only thing I could tell was that I was on a bed and the usual smell of disinfectant was absent which means I was no longer in the hospital. “W-where am I?” I thought. “Was I still in the Pack? Who was the nurse and who was she working for

Chapter 174 Kieran's POV The guys and I had gone through everything over and over again, to make sure nothing surprises us. Gerald and Felix were going to be taken care of after the ceremony but they faced daily punishment from either Caleb or whoever was bored enough to deal with them. “Your meeting with the elders is starting in an hour." Caleb reminded me. I nodded. They had written several times after getting the invitation for the ceremony where I clearly stated that only four of them were welcomed. That didn't sit well with them but they had to choose or none of them was welcome. “For people who were strongly against her being Luna, they sure are confused." King mocked. “I half expected them to rip the invitation letter and refuse to attend." He added. “They know about her actual position, so it's different now." I told him and he just snorted and retreated to the back of my head. I turned to Caleb, “I remember.” I said. "Did Nessa's parents say anything th

Chapter 173 Kaia's POV The Luna ceremony was about a week from now and I had concluded on the dress I wanted to wear. The shoes had also been picked with the help of the girls, including Nora and my mom. Nora was finally opening up and becoming more comfortable with us. And I could tell that it pleased Dylan that she was getting along with us. “So, the invitations have gone out to the Alphas my brother finds less annoying." Allie said, ticking it off the list where she had written everything that needed to be done. The three of them were sitting on the edge of the bed in Kieran and I’s room, while I laid down on it, my back resting against several pillows to make sure I was comfortable. "I'm taking care of the ballroom, but I should be done before tomorrow.” Dani said, and Allie nodded. “And I've spoken to the other Omegas about food and they are all excited that they get to participate in helping during the ceremony.” Nora said, "and I also have some recipes I wan

Chapter 172 Kaia's POV Last week was a lot on everyone, especially Allie. She wasn't even able to do her favorite thing…shop or anything related. Dani, who always wanted a child, couldn't understand how someone could be so cruel to their unborn child and even after having the child by some sort of miracle, she still couldn't make things right. Instead, she chose to make everything about her. She deserved everything she got. After the meeting, Kieran marched to the dungeon, with Alpha Tyler and the guys. Her punishment had been delayed enough. Kieran brought her out of the dungeon and from what Ryder told us…since I didn't want to bother Kieran by asking about it. She was a shadow of herself but that didn't stop Kieran, who vanished her, turning her a rogue. For her, it was a punishment worse than death. She was going to live her life as the one group she hated more than anything. He also made her unable to shift into her Lycan for as long as she lived. He finally had

  • Claimed By The Lycan King    Sins Of The Past

Chapter 171Kaia's POV Kieran had barely said anything, yet they were already trembling. I got that his presence alone was intimidating but this felt different…maybe because I already concluded that they were just as guilty as Nessa was. I remembered the second time I went to their house, when I met the Dad, who told me about how she liked the idea of magic after I saw the picture of her on the wall. Although that would've been true but since we were already suspicious of her, it cancelled that out. I probably had imagined it, but there was a hint of fear in his voice. “Well, considering how they were clearly going against the rules of the Pack, it was more than enough reason for him to be scared." I thought. “But if they are guilty, why didn't they escape with her? I mean they would know that whatever they did would be traced back to them.” Lylah said. I paused, "that's exactly what a guilty person would think. As long as they didn't run, it would make them appear in
