Chapter 36

Azanlin’s POV

Azanlin stood still over Rensin’s body, watching the blood soak into the rocky ground. He had done it. He had finally killed him. His old enemy. His biggest threat. Gone.

But the victory didn’t taste sweet.

Ugarh walked up beside him, silent, eyes fixed on Rensin’s still body. “We did it,” he said.

“No,” Azanlin replied coldly. “I did it.”

Ugarh raised an eyebrow. “You’re not happy?”

Azanlin didn’t answer. His jaw tightened. His eyes weren’t on Rensin anymore—they were staring at the spot where Adolfa had vanished.

“She escaped,” he muttered, voice sharp. “He sent her away.”

Ugarh looked uneasy. “He used the last of his power.”

“And that makes him a fool,” Azanlin snapped. “He wasted everything—for her.”

Ugarh crossed his arms. “You should let it go.”

Azanlin turned slowly, anger simmering behind his eyes. “Let it go? I’ve come too far. I died and returned. I gave up my name, my soul, my light. And you want me to let it go?”

Ugarh didn’t flinch. “She’s gone. N

  • Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha    Queen Amira

Chapter 40Spirit World POVQueen Amira paced the marble floor of the High Temple of Spirits, her thoughts racing. A thousand echoes whispered in her mind, but one rang louder than all the rest:"If Azanlin discovers our realm, everything will crumble."She stopped before the Spirit King, her eyes blazing with urgency. "He’s getting too close. His power is growing unnaturally fast. If he finds the gate to the spirit world—""He won't," the King interrupted, rising from his throne of obsidian light. "But we must act now. Call the Council. This isn’t just about Azanlin anymore. Ugarh, Betmor, even the seven districts—if they align, they could rip the veil open."Moments later, the Temple’s bell tolled with a deep, ancient ring. Spirits shimmered into existence around the circular chamber, taking their seats in the glowing circle of judgment.Queen Amira stood at the center. "Council members, our sacred realm is at risk. Azanlin has begun forging connections we never anticipated. If he—o

Chapter 39Spirit World POV"Your Majesty," a spirit guard knelt before the throne. "We have troubling news. Azanlin, the sorcerer king of the Forge Kingdom, is plotting something dangerous."The Spirit King narrowed his eyes. "Go on.""He plans to challenge your reign, my King. He’s gathering support from Betmor and the surrounding districts. He wants to destroy you and take over your power."The Queen stood from her silver throne. Her voice was sharp. "Is he mad? Does he truly believe he can challenge the spirit world?""He’s gathering witches and sorcerers. He’s creating a secret potion only he can brew. It’s said to grant temporary immortality and enhance magical power," the guard replied. The King clenched his fist. "Then it’s true. Azanlin has declared war, even if he hasn’t said it out loud. We cannot wait."The Queen turned to her husband. "Let’s place spies in the Forge Kingdom and Betmor. We need eyes everywhere.""Already done," the King said. "Our top shadow spirits have i

  • Claimed By The Ruthless Alpha    The sorcerer King

Chapter 38Ugarh's POVAzanlin, the Sorcerer King, is more than just a leader. He's the living embodiment of courage and vision. I’ve watched his people follow him with undying loyalty, willing to lay down their lives if it means preserving the peace he has built. That’s true leadership—unshakable, inspiring, and deeply rooted in the hearts of his people. And now, more than ever, we need that kind of strength. If we hope to defeat Adolfa and dismantle the power that flows through the six allied districts under her command, we have to stand united. As I left Azanlin’s quarters, the thought of the coming battle settled heavily on my shoulders. I had a duty—to prepare my people, the warriors and mystics of the Betmor Quarters. We couldn't afford to be unprepared. Not when the future of all seven independent districts depended on our strength.I moved quickly through the stone corridors, nodding at the few guards who saluted me in passing. But just before I reached the main gates, a famil

Chapter 37Azanlin's POVFacing Adolfa's illusion was one of the most difficult challenges I’ve encountered—not just as the Sorcerer King, but as the head of the Witches’ Council. That illusion... it wasn't just a trick. It was a warning. And it nearly ended me.I stood tall beside Ugarh, my most trusted companion. "There are two core magical forces embedded in my soul," I said, my voice steady, filled with strength and purpose.Ugarh nodded, arms folded across his chest. "Your soul magic is unlike any other. But that illusion, Azanlin... it had power. Real power. If that was just a shadow of her, what would her true self be like?""Exactly," I replied. "That’s why we must study her. Understand her. Every movement, every spell. We can’t afford to underestimate Adolfa."Ugarh spoke calmly, yet I could sense the urgency in his tone. "You're right. We still have so many battles ahead. But Adolfa... she's not ordinary. So, what do we do now to defeat someone like her?""Before the Year of

Chapter 35Adolfa's POVAfter finding out the truth about who I really am, I made a serious promise to myself and to the Moon Goddess. I swore I would follow every instruction from the spirit world and the Quarters. No matter how hard the journey ahead would be, I wouldn’t let greed or revenge control me again. I promised to stay on their path, listen to their guidance, and never go against their will.Because now, I finally knew who I was.And I knew what I could do.Once everything became clear, I felt like I moved beyond time. I left behind the battleground in my mind and appeared again in Raven—the empty, cursed land Renshin had locked me inside, thinking it would protect me from the dark energy still living there. But nothing could have prepared me for what I saw when I returned.A deep growl ripped through the air.The skies turned completely black. And suddenly, the Wereboars came.Their heavy steps hit the ground like thunder. Their glowing eyes burned with rage, and the air s
