Audrey's POV

Sitting in front of my dressing mirror, I picked up my phone and dialed Nolan's number. I had been trying to reach him for the past couple of days, but his number was not going through. I went to his house to check up on him, but he wasn't there. I placed my phone down and began to apply makeup on my face. I paused when a thought suddenly crossed my mind.

"He's not refusing to pick up my calls on purpose, right?" I mumbled.

"No, he won't do that. He must have not seen my calls. I will try again," I shook my head, dropping the lipstick in my hands and picking up my phone again. He picked up after the third ring.

"Hello," he said.

I scoffed. "Hello? Is that all you can say after ignoring my calls for days?"

"I wasn't ignoring your calls. I was just too busy to answer them," he replied. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. How busy could he be that he wouldn't be able to answer a simple phone call? This has never happened before.

Genevieve's POVI kept tossing and turning in my bed throughout the night the previous day. I couldn't sleep early because I kept thinking about why Owen and Nolan hated each other that much. It didn't make sense for them to hate each other like that over something trivial. No matter how hard I thought, I couldn't wrap my head around the reason. It seemed very serious. They both could never stay in the same room with each other. So much hatred and hostility but what was the cause?I continued to ponder deeply over it as I walked down the school hallway. I could sense it was a delicate topic which was why I never asked them both about it. I would have to find out on my own. But how? I was new in this pack and didn't know anyone to ask about it or.... maybe I do. The only people who would know about them were the ones that started school with them right from the beginning. And I knew just the right people who fitted into that criteria."Hi," I called out with a wide smile as I took my s

Nolan's POVI checked out my appearance for the last time in the rearview mirror of my parked car. Satisfied by it, I held the gift bag tightly in my arms and made my way to the door. Genevieve won't give me her house address so I had someone find it out for me. A mere thing like a house address can't stop me from having dinner with them like I said I would. I rang the doorbell and stood with a smile on my face. The door suddenly opened and I met Genevieve's mum."Good evening Mrs. Gonzales. It's nice to see you again," I greeted politely."Evening Nolan, nice to see you too. How have you been and how are your parents?" she asked with a smile."We are all fine. This is for you," I said, extending the gift bag to her. "You didn't have to. You Sunny-ville boys do know how to show your gratitude," she said as she took the bag from me."Sunny-Ville boys?" I inquired in surprise."Yes. Genevieve's other friend. He's inside. You might recognize him too since you all go to the same school.

  • Claimed By Two Rivals    24: Unannounced visit

Owen's POV I was riding my bike home after school. School closed hours back but I stayed back to paint because I had a lot going on in my mind. And it had to do with Genevieve. She's the first girl that has ever been on my mind for this long. I tried to get her off my mind but it just was not working. "That's because you like her. It's given since she might be our mate," Ulric said. If it was before, I would have disagreed with him right away but now, I wasn't sure myself. I've never liked someone before so I didn't know how I was supposed to feel when I did. A car honked loudly behind me snapping me out of my thoughts. I realized that I had slowed my pace due to being lost in my thoughts. But that wasn't just what I did wrong while my thoughts were a mess. "Where the hell am I?" I mumbled glancing around. This wasn't the way to the pack house. My eyes widened in realization. "Shit!" I cursed. I had unconsciously driven toward where I dropped Genevieve off the other day. This was

  • Claimed By Two Rivals    23: Lifted spirit

Nolan's POVAfter Genevieve left, I walked towards my room. She might have thought that she ran away and escaped me but she didn't. I was the one who let her go because I was confused by my feelings. She was so close to me, I could feel her breath on my face and her scent invading my senses. It took every ounce of control I had left in me not to devour her. If it were any other girl in her shoes, it would have been a different scenario but with her, I couldn't bring myself to do that. My jumbled thoughts were what led me to let her go. The door suddenly beeped signaling that someone had entered. I turned around."Jackson? What are you still doing here?" I inquired wondering why he wasn't at his own house by that time of the night."Is that a way to welcome your father?" I halted in my steps when I heard that voice. His face soon comes into view."What are you doing here?" I asked with a frown."How disrespectful. Can't I visit my son whenever I want? And besides, this is my house. I

Genevieve's POV"What did you just say? I didn't quite catch that," I said, raising my head sharply to glance at him. Due to the honking of moving cars on the road, I thought I had misheard him."Forget it if you didn't hear it," he replied as he walked away. I ran after him."I definitely heard you say thank you. I never knew you know how to show gratitude," I said."You know nothing about me," he responded."I found out enough to know that you are rude and incapable of feeling anything," I replied."How do you know I don't feel anything?" he asked again."That's what everyone at school and your expression says. The way you act doesn't tell me otherwise. Why do people run away from you like a plague? You might be a selfish rude jerk but that doesn't mean they should all be scared of you," I said to him. "Are you complimenting me or insulting me?" he inquired. I shrugged."Take it however you want." I glanced at him after we walked for a while and he wasn't responding to my question.
