Flora

I sat on the bed, hugging a pillow tightly against my chest. I felt heavy inside. My thoughts were messy, and I didn’t even understand why I was so upset. Maybe it was because of what I saw yesterday. Leo with Elena. That image wouldn’t leave my head. Why did it bother me so much? He wasn’t mine… so why did my heart feel like someone had stepped on it?

I bit my lip and pushed the pillow harder against me.

The door creaked open, and Kiran walked in with her usual bright smile. “Flora! You’re sulking, aren’t you?” she said, tilting her head.

“I’m not,” I muttered, looking away.

She came closer and sat beside me. “Don’t lie to me. I know you. When you curl up with that pillow like it’s your lifeline, it means you’re upset.”

“I’m fine.”

“You’re not fine,” Kiran said firmly. “Tell me what’s wrong. Did someone say something to you? Did Leo do something again?”

I shook my head quickly. “No. Nothing.”

“Then why are you sitting here like you’ve lost your favorite shoes?” she teased, poki

Third Person’s PerspectiveFlora woke to the sound of chains clinking. The sound was sharp and cold, echoing off the walls. Her eyes were heavy, her body aching as if she had been lying still for a very long time. When she tried to move, she realized her hands were tied tightly to the arms of a wooden chair. The ropes cut into her skin, rough and burning. Her legs were also bound, leaving her helpless and unable to stand.A dark room surrounded her. Only a single candle burned in the corner. Its weak flame moved slightly, throwing shaky light across the stone walls. The floor was dirty, and water dripped from somewhere above. The air smelled of damp stone, sweat, and blood, making it hard to breathe. Then she heard footsteps. Slow. Heavy. Familiar. Each step made her chest tighten.Valen stepped out of the shadows. His face was pale, his jaw set tight, his eyes wild and filled with anger. His mouth twisted when he saw her sitting tied to the chair.“You,” he spat. His voice shook with

Third Person’s PerspectiveThree weeks later, the pack was full of excitement. The whole village was decorated for the festival. Colorful lanterns hung from tall wooden poles, their warm glow lighting up the night sky. Long tables were covered with food, roasted meat, bread, fruits, and bowls of steaming soup. The air smelled rich with spices and firewood.Music played loudly in the center of the field. Drummers beat their hands on stretched hides, and flutes sang out sharp and clear. The rhythm made people laugh and move their feet. Children ran around, chasing one another with ribbons and wooden toys. Women carried trays of food, serving everyone who passed. Men lifted their drinks high and shouted cheers, clapping each other on the back.It was the festival, a time the pack celebrated peace and blessings. Everyone was dressed in their best clothes. Everyone was smiling. For a moment, the world felt safe.Flora stood with Leo at the edge of the crowd, close enough to see the firelig

Flora’s PerspectiveI was brushing my hair in front of the mirror when Kiran appeared, leaning casually against the doorframe. “Flora,” she said with a sly grin, “you look… dangerous today. Careful who you anger.”I smirked, raising an eyebrow. “And you? What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be running off to… business?”She laughed softly, a teasing sound. “Ah, you know me too well. Yes, I do have business in the next pack. There’s a certain… man I need to see. Very important business, of course.”I rolled my eyes, trying to hide my grin. “Business, huh? Sounds very naughty.”Her lips curved into a mischievous smile. “You know it, Flora. And don’t act like you don’t enjoy hearing about it.”I shook my head, laughing lightly. “You are impossible. Just remember, don’t get caught. Or at least, don’t get caught by the wrong people.”Kiran winked. “Oh, I’ll be careful. But you… you better stay out of my way. Or I might have to show you what ‘business’ really means.”I laughed again, feel

Flora’s Perspective“Flora,” Leo said, his voice low and serious, “you can’t keep staring at me like that. You’re going to give me ideas.”I smirked, tilting my head. “Oh? And what ideas would those be?”He took a slow step closer, his eyes dark, focused. “The kind that don’t belong in public,” he murmured, his hand brushing lightly against mine as he passed.I laughed softly, letting my fingers linger where his had touched. “Public doesn’t matter,” I said, leaning a little closer. “Not when we have… time like this.”He chuckled, low and husky, and I felt the familiar pull in my chest. Every word, every look between us seemed to carry more than the conversation itself. It wasn’t just about talking—it was about control, about presence, about that unspoken connection we shared.“Do you even realize how dangerous that smile of yours is?” he asked, his voice dropping even lower.I leaned forward, teasing, letting my hair brush his shoulder. “Dangerous? Maybe. Or maybe I just know exactly

Flora’s PerspectiveThe sunlight was weak, filtering softly through the curtains. It painted the room in pale gold, dust motes floating lazily in the light. Leo and I were still in bed, our bodies tangled together, the quiet only broken by the soft rhythm of our breathing. His hand traced lazy, almost absent patterns along my back, sending shivers down my spine. The warmth of his skin against mine made me feel safe, yet alert, like a wolf always listening for danger.“Flora,” he murmured, his voice low, serious, and filled with weight. It cut through the calm like a blade, drawing my attention immediately.I shifted slightly, turning my face toward him. His dark, focused eyes met mine, and for a moment, the world outside our bedroom disappeared. There was a fire in them, a promise of action, and a weight that made my heart skip a beat.“You kept your part,” he said slowly, every word deliberate, “to the very end of the agreement. You took your role as Luna seriously. You performed you

Leo’s PerspectiveI stood over the bodies, my hands in fists so tight my knuckles turned white. The ground beneath me was stained dark with blood, and the sharp, metallic smell filled the night air, heavy and suffocating. My men shifted uncomfortably behind me. I could hear them whispering, some too afraid to speak above their breath. A few turned their faces away, unable to keep looking at the sight, while others kept staring at the strange marks burned into the necks of our fallen pack members as if staring long enough would give them answers.I knew that mark. I had seen it before. Somewhere. Sometime. But where? My head kept repeating the same thought like a broken drumbeat: I know this symbol. I know it. But why can’t I remember? Every time I thought I was close to recalling it, the memory slipped away, leaving only frustration behind.Lucas stepped closer, his face pale but his voice steady. “Leo… this is not normal. These marks… they look like something old. Ancient, just like
