“Welcome, Alpha,” Kyron’s beta and right-hand man greeted as soon as Kyron stepped out of the vehicle. The chauffeur drove off to park while Cole fell into step behind him.

“Thank you, Cole,” Kyron replied, striding through the foyer and into his study, the Beta following closely. “Any message from the council?” he asked the moment Cole switched on the air conditioner. Cool air swept through the spacious room.

The study was large and meticulously designed. Marble walls gleamed under the warm lighting, and a thick fur rug dominated the center of the room. A wine cellar stood to one side, opposite a massive window overlooking the entire pack. Heavy brown curtains framed the glass, swaying faintly with the breeze from the AC.

Documents, books, and a laptop were arranged, somewhat chaotically across the wide glass desk. Behind it sat an imported, high-back leather chair. Two seats and a sofa completed the room

Kamari’s pov That night, I stirred awake at the sound of my door creaking. Cold splashes of rainwater drifted in through the slightly open window and dotted my arms, urging my eyes open. A heavy downpour roared outside, sheets of rain slamming against the roof while thunder rumbled low, like the sky was grieving. I turned my head toward Arial’s bed…empty. A sharp panic shot through my chest. I kicked the blankets off and swung my legs out of bed just as the bathroom door opened. Arial stepped in, fully dressed in her raincoat, water dripping from the hem. She froze the moment our eyes met. “Did I wake you, sweetie?” she asked softly. Her lips curved into the smallest smile, but I could see it, the sadness hiding underneath, filling her eyes like a rising tide. My gaze dropped to the duffel bag propped beside the door. My breath hitched. “What are you doing?” I whispered, though dread

“What happened to him?” A girl with obsidian-black hair, her features bearing the same sharp beauty as Alpha Jake demanded as she hurried toward him. Two guards struggled to keep Alpha Jake upright as he staggered into the mansion. Wine clung to the corner of his lips, his expression hazy and unfocused. He reached out to her, legs buckling, but before he could hit the marble floor, she caught him effortlessly. “Are you both deaf?” she snapped, glaring at both guards with fire in her eyes. “I asked what happened to him!” The guards exchanged nervous glances before one finally spoke. “The Alpha said he wanted to stop by the bar after the meeting. We had to obey… or we’d risk being fired.” Her jaw tightened. She looked down at her brother, his pupils were blown, his wolf suppressed, then back at the trembling guards. “Werewolves don’t get drunk. So why is he like this?” “He… request

As soon as Alpha Casper stepped out of his vehicle, he tossed the keys to one of his guards with a flick of irritation. “Park it in the garage,” he ordered, already striding toward his private vacation home. The moment he crossed the threshold, his servants bowed their heads in respect. His butler hurried forward, hands outstretched to take his coat. “Welcome back, Alpha,” the elderly man greeted with a gentle smile. “I trust your meeting went well, sir.” “Thank you, Alfred,” Casper muttered, ignoring the question entirely as he shrugged out of the coat and raked a hand through his hair, tension rolling off him in waves. “Dinner?” “It will be ready shortly, sir. I’ll check on the chefs.” Alfred turned to leave, but Casper paused, nostrils flaring sharply. His eyes narrowed. “Someone else is here,” he said, voice dangerously calm. He pivoted to face Alfred

However, knowing Pa, he wasn’t going to back down. He stared at Kyron, lip curling in disgust. “And like I said, she is not going anywhere. She is not taking a single step out of this house until this matter has been settled.” His gaze swept over each Alpha before pinning Kyron once more. “I know you’re a smart man. You would not want to make an enemy of my pack. We are allies, not rivals. So I suggest you wait. And behave. Until this matter has been resolved.” Then he turned on me, snapping like a whip. “Now, Kamari. Go to your room. You and I will talk later.” I took a single step… “Kamari… stay.” Jake’s voice cut through the air, deep and commanding and I froze. My body obeyed him before my mind had the chance to understand why. The mate bond, even if I refused to feel it, recognized his authority. Pa’s face flushed red, his wolf pushing against his skin in fury.

The room fell into a suffocating silence. Ma and Pa stared at the petri dishes, eyes wide, while my heart hammered so loud I swore everyone could hear it. Doctor Patricia looked stunned, her brows pinched as she studied the results once more. The Alphas…If the circumstances weren’t so terrifying, their reactions would almost be funny. Three powerful, dominant males glaring at one another like someone must have tampered with the test.Ma’s hand found mine, giving it a soft squeeze. Meanwhile Pa’s expression darkened, anger simmering beneath the surface.“I refuse to accept this!” he burst out, laughing bitterly. “A girl and three mates? Impossible. Run the test again.”Doctor Patricia hesitated but obeyed. Once, Twice, Four times and every single time… my blood pulled toward theirs. The moon goddess have decided and nothing would change it.“Run it again,” Pa demanded yet again.“Don’t.” My voice cracked slightly as I finally spoke up. All eyes turned to me. “We’ve repeated the test en
