Doctors to save lives

         Zach POV

 Hearing she is healthy is good, but hearing him say she looked troubled is something not good at all.

My baby is being troubled… 

 

“With a guy, tall and he looked like he was begging her for something.” He replied and I scoffed

“Begging my baby and troubling her is something I cannot tolerate. If he wants trouble, he should come to her daddy. Do you know what you are gonna do?” I asked as I leaned back against my seat.

“Give the order boss.” He diligently replied 

“Get the guys info, everything about him and his relationship with her. I don’t cate if it’s an old relationship or a whatever.” I demanded and they bowed their heads lowly in agreement.

“Yes boss,”

“If it would cause you to stalk her or him, I do not mind. But don’t ever hurt her or you would wish you were never born.” I continued.

 

 

Madison POV

I am just few meters away from the hospital and got an incoming call from doctor Melvin.

“Could you please get my phone?” I said to Krystal

“Your pocket, right?” she replied and I nod my head as she dug her hands into my pocket and took out my phone.

“Who is it?’

“Dr. Melvin…should I answer it? We would arrive soon at the hospital.” She spoke 

“Yes please, we have no idea of what he has to say.” I replied and she swiped the screen answering the call, “Loud speaker…” I whispered and she nods her head.

“Dr. Madison, where are you?” Melvin’s voice came up, it sounded energized, very active and at the same time, worriedly.

“I uhm, I’m on my way to the hospital Doc.” I replied

“You have to get here in time then.” He replied

“Is everything okay?” I asked shakily, “Everything’s not. We have a lot on our desk now, a fire accident and a car accident, just this morning. I need you and Krystal in no time.” He replied as he ended the call.

 

My jaw dropped and Krystal jaw did too, “What a bad way to start a day for them.” She said lowly as she tried to catch her breath

“Hey, you’ve got to be strong. We started ours too in a bad way.” I replied and in less than 5 minutes, we arrived at the hospital and I pulled the car to a halt.

“Come on, lets go do this.” I said to Krystal as we step out of the car, I left my car to one of the security guys I know so well to park. Even from the outside look of the hospital, I can tell there is an emergency.

 

Krystal and I rushed into the hospital, our hearts pounding with adrenaline. We just received a word of a car and fire accident involving a family. And yes, we have to get to work fast to save their lives; it is our job.

 

“Don’t you think we would operate together? We haven't been chanced to yet for some time now” Krystal said as we walked in through the hospital floors.

“Yes, you're right, I think we will again.” I replied. 

I haven't spotted Dr. Melvin around… he must be so busy now. 

 

As we arrived the emergency room, I took in the sight of the family- a father and mother, and their two young children.

Oh, this is so bad…

“Even the kids are involved too...” Krystal said lowly beside me, she must be hurt too.

The father had suffered a head injury and is barely conscious. The mother has a broken leg and arm with several cuts on her head and was writhing in pain. The kids were crying uncontrollably, their bodies covered in cuts and bruises and one of them, the girl also has a broken leg.

 

“Damn, this poor little girl…” I sizzled

“Let’s start something, don’t you think so?” Krystal asked beside me and I nod my head in approval.

 

I can feel the weight of responsibility on my shoulders as we both approached the stretcher, our minds focused solely on the task at hand. As we worked together seamlessly, moving with precision and expertise to assess the family’s injuries and determine the course of action.

It is just what we wanted, to work together and as we did, I felt the familiar rush of adrenaline that came with performing under pressure. I know that we are rushing against time to save their lives and I am determined to do everything in my power to help them. 

We are currently working on the father. Doctor Melvin, our boss, joined the team, and together we began daunting task on operating on the injured family members. Other doctors were working together too.

 

Krystal and I worked tirelessly, our hands moving with speed and grace that only comes from years of practice. 

We performed the surgery with precision, repairing the family’s injuries with deftness that left everyone in awe.

 

Throughout the surgery, my attention never wavered. Not to Kingsley or Zach. My focus was firmly at the task at hand.

 

“Are we moving to the little girl now? She has a broken leg.” Krystal asked

“Yes sure, you and Madison can go to her now.” Dr. Melvin replied and we left the.

 

Everything we’ll need has been prepared by the nurses, the girl is unconscious now.

Krystal and I stood side by side in the operating room, our focus on the little girl fixing her broken leg.

 

The little girl lay motionless on the operation table, her body covered in sterile drapes, as we worked to set the broken bone.

 

This is really responsibility, performing surgery on a child could really be a difficult task, but Krystal and I are determined to do everything in our power to make sure this little girl leaves the hospital in full recovery.

 

Krystal handed me the bone saw, and I began to carefully cut through the girl’s soft tissue. As we worked, I could hear the hum of the machines around me, the sounds of beeping and whirring filling the room.

And as we finally cut through the last piece of bone, I cold feel a sense of satisfaction wash over me.

 

The next few hours passed in a blur of activity as Krystal and I worked magic, preparing the girl’s leg and setting the broken bone. As the surgery drew close, Krystal and I finally began to see the fruit of our labor. The little girl’s leg was set, the bone properly aligned, and her body on the road of full recovery. 

 

Krystal and I couldn’t help bur feel a sense of pride and accomplishment as we looked at the little girl’s face. She’s awake and has a beautiful smile on her face, her families and friends were relieved even the doctors in the room with us.

 

“Well, we did it.” I said to Krystal. We’ve made a difference in our lives- it was all worth it.

 

And as Krystal and I stepped out of the operating room, our scrubs stained with blood and sweat, we know that this is what we have been born to do. 

We are saviors, protectors and healers, using our skills to make the world a better place, one patient at a time.
