Blonde

Krystal left the house after having the breakfast that was nicely prepared for her by her fiancé.

She stepped into her red sports car and threw her hand bag to the passenger seat beside her before she ignited the engine and drove away to the hospital.

  As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the hospital grounds, Dr. Krystal pulled up in her sleek red sports car. The sound of the engine reverberated through the air, catching the attention of both new and old employees alike. Excitement filled the atmosphere as whispers of her return spread like wildfire.

The news of Dr. Madison’s wedding spread like wide fire across the hospital and they know Krystal to be best friends with Madison.

A few of them knew the reason why Madison left the hospital for 3 months and also knew it was Madison's husband that took leave permission for Krystal as well.

The hospital entrance buzzed with anticipation as Dr. Krystal stepped out of her car, her white lab coat billowing behind her. A chorus of greetings and applause erupted from the staff, a mix of familiar faces and fresh recruits. They lined the pathway, forming a lively corridor of well-wishers.

"Welcome back, Dr. Krystal!" called out Nurse Johnson, her voice filled with genuine joy. The others joined in, clapping and cheering, their smiles reflecting their admiration for the esteemed doctor.

Dr. Krystal, her face beaming with gratitude, made her way through the jubilant crowd, exchanging hugs and handshakes along the way.

“Thank you, thank you, good to see you all healthy.” She replied

The new employees, eager to make a good impression, introduced themselves with enthusiasm, expressing their excitement to work alongside such a respected physician.

“Hi, I am Dr. Samantha and I’ve heard a lot about you from Dr. Melvin and I hope to work with you and learn more from you.” The pretty new employee said to her and she giggled

“Wow, I am flattered, as long as you are working her, you would work with me as well learn more from me.” Krystal replied.

Other new employees gathered themselves and smile at her, “Isn’t she beautiful?” one of them asked

“I heard she is engaged to a hottie and a very wealthy dude, goodness…. I crave such love.” Another one said

“What are you saying?” a tiny voice spoke up

“Don’t you see the way she looks so good and smell good, her man must really be taking care of her.” She replied

“Have you seen the other one? Her best friend, damn she is pretty.”

“Okay, are we talking about them?” a female nurse asked

“Obviously, I heard she is wedded and her husband is best friends with Dr. Krystal fiancé.”

“Okay, enough! Where are you gathering all these information from, Natalie??”

“You are supposed to be working you know, get back to work all of you, now!”

  

   As Dr. Krystal continued her journey through the hospital, she couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging and purpose. The warm reception reminded her of why she had chosen this profession in the first place.

Just as she turned a corner, she found herself face to face with her best friend, Dr. Madison. The two shared a bond that went beyond the confines of the hospital walls. Dr. Madison's mischievous grin hinted at the playful banter that was about to ensue.

"Well, well, well, look who's finally gracing us with her presence," Dr. Madison teased, raising an eyebrow. "I hope you had a good time gallivanting around with Adrian while the rest of us were here saving lives." She said to her.

“Saving lives? Is that what you said?” Krystal laughed at her

“Yes, duh…. I have been here spiritually. Hehe.” Madison laughed

Dr. Krystal chuckled, knowing that her friend's teasing was all in good fun. "Oh, Madison, you know Adrian and I were just enjoying some much-needed time together. But don't worry, I'm back now, ready to dive back into work and plan this upcoming wedding."

Dr. Madison's eyes sparkled mischievously. "Ah, the wedding. I can't wait to see you walk down that aisle, Krystal. Just make sure Adrian doesn't get cold feet after that wild night you two had."

Krystal blushed, playfully swatting her friend's arm. "Oh, stop it, Madison. You know that was just a one-time thing. Adrian and I are more in love than ever."

“Yeah, last night you two were loud though.” Madison chuckled with a smirk

“Oh, really? Did you hear Zane and his girlfriend?” Krystal replied with a laugh.

“They were embarrassing, I had to use my earbuds last night but still, goodness… Zane is just young and he has nailed Agatha more than 8 times, yeah I haven’t lost count.” Madison replied with a proud smile

“You are a sicko! Girl” Krystal replied

“Yes love, you two.”

 The two friends shared a laugh, their bond stronger than ever. As they continued their conversation, the hospital bustled around them, the energy of the place mirroring the excitement of Dr. Krystal's return.

And so, with the warm welcome of her colleagues and the playful banter of her best friend, Dr. Krystal embraced her return to the hospital, ready to face the challenges and joys that awaited her.

“Have you thought of the wedding location yet? The guys are being quite and it is making me curious.” Krystal said to Madison as she stepped into her office.

“No, weird, Zach hasn’t mentioned it to me too.”

“Yeah, he knows if he does, I will tell you.” She added with a side smile

“Yeah, you would ruin the surprise.”

“Duh, surprise is a secret, how can’t I tell my bestie a secret?” Madison laughed out and Krystal shook her head with a low laugh.

“So, we should leave them to whatever they are planning, it is all for good.” She said to Krystal.

“Yeah, I agree with you.”

“While they plan, we will make plans about your dress.” Madison winked at her.

“Yeah, can I tell you something?” Krystal whispered to her as she drew her face closer to her.

“What?” Madison smiled

“It’s been long we stepped out to get a drink together, what do you say?” She smiled and Madison shook her head

“Hehe, just a drink, right? Nah…”

“Oh c’mon, girls night babe, please” Krystal pouted her lips at Madison.

“You know you should be telling me thank you every day, had it been I never took you to that hotel, you would never have crossed paths with Zach.” She said with a proud smile and Madison rolled her eyes

“Yeah. Yeah, thank you ma” she replied with a shrug

“So, what do you say? Don’t worry, we will not do anything stupid, we are taken already.” Krystal smiled as she danced her fingers at Madison’s face showing her the giant pretty engagement ring around her finger.

“Hmmm, like the sound of that.” Madison replied

“YAY!!”

“Girls night it is, we can’t let them know.” Krystal warned

“Sure, count me in!”

 Few hours later, at Zach’s mansion.

Zach stepped out his room dressed in a black suit pants and a black t-shirt, he had changed his hair color from a dark ink color to a blonde one. He majestically walked down the foyer to the living room just to watch some N*****x series.

Adrian then stepped out of the kitchen with a bowl of chips, “Zach? Is that you?” he exclaimed as his jaw dropped at his hair.

“Yeah, as you can see.” Zach smiled

“You are on blonde? I thought you hate blonde!!” he laughed

“Damn, you look cute my love.” Adrian screamed as he ran to Zach and cupped his cheeks

“Wait, since when did you start calling me your love, ugh!!” Zach laughed as he slapped his hands away.

“Duh, you look pretty, I could kiss you right now you moron.” He laughed and Zach laughed too before he grabbed him and pinned him down to the couch.

“Do not disturb me, I have a movie to watch.” He said sternly to him

“Yeah, you did this hair because of Madison right? She is blonde….or she changed to blonde.” Adrian replied with a bright smile

“Yep!”

“Oh, love indeed…. I am soaring already!!!!” Adrian dramatically screamed.
