Drake picked me up an hour before meeting Lana. I can feel that he’s a bit uneasy with this meeting, especially how the last meeting had ended.

“Are you sure you’re fine with meeting Lana again?” Drake asks as he drives.

“Yes,” I replied. My response was faster than I intended it to be. Drake stole a glance my way as he tried to analyze me.

“Baby, just a heads up, that if Lana did something which I feel like a threat towards you, I don’t care if our cover is blown, I will do what I think is best not only for you but also for Little Wolf,” I can feel his nervousness through the bond, along with his feeling of guilt. I took his hand which was his leg.

“Agreed,” I said as I kissed the back of his hand, taking him by surprise, “But that will be our last option. I want you to trust me enough to give me time to try and fix it before you step in. Because just like you, I wouldn’t do anything that would harm Little Wolf.”
