I woke up and found Drake looking at me.

“Good Morning baby,” he said with a smile and I smiled back at him. He shifted and gave me a kiss on the forehead, “You woke up earlier than usual. Are you excited for today?” He asks.

“Is it obvious?” I asked guiltily, as I remember Lana’s request.

“A bit,” Drake said as he pulled me close to him. It’s been a long time since we stayed in bed like this. I snuggled closer as I let my arms wrap around his waist.

“Baby, I know that you are excited but please remember to take care of yourself,” Drake said, “I would have insisted to come with you but unfortunately I have to prepare for the Alliance meeting later.”

I pulled away to look at him and saw the tiredness in his eyes. I know that he will do everything for the people of Purple Hill but all the uncertainties are definitely not helping. I am just glad that we finally have another ally that would be able to give us additional information that might be useful for us.

“Baby,” I said, waiting
