Isaac let Stephanie curl up to him the rest of the night after her nightmare startled her awake. And to her pleasure, she slept the rest of the night without any bad dreams of Dominic or anyone trying to hurt her baby.
“Do you want to talk about it?” Isaac asked after they woke up and were facing each other on the bed.
Stephanie inhaled deeply and answered him, “I think… I think I know what to do now because of the dream.”
“You do?”
She nodded her head. “I do. I think if I threaten him to go public with my side of the story… he just might make a deal with me. I think I can get the devil to make a deal with me for once.”
“How would you do that? You don’t want to contact him, right?”
