50| Doctor's Appointment
I was laying on the examination table next to the ultrasound and speaking casually with my gynecologist when the door unexpectedly flew open.
“Dominic?!” I panicked.
“Hey, baby.” He smiled and casually walked closer to me.
If I weren’t on this table with my shirt up halfway and in the presence of another person, I would run the hell out of here as fast as possible. What the fuck is he doing here? And how did he know where I was?
“I’m sorry, and you are?” The doctor asked over her shoulder to him.
Dominic smiled at her. “I’m the father.”
“Oh, how wonderful.” The doctor returned his smile and resumed her work, placing the gel on my belly before the transducer probe.
I looked at Dominic with fearful eyes. Dammit, why did I ask to go to this appointment alone?
