I entered my apartment and softly closed the door so as not to wake them up.
“Sissy!” Azani screamed as he hugged my legs.
“Were you thinking of sneaking in?” Zada asked with her arms folded over her chest, her face harboured an amused smile and I playfully rolled my eyes before picking up my nephew.
“Hello, Zani,” I kissed his cheek. “How are you?” He grabbed my cheeks and kissed them both.
“I missed you,” he said and I giggled, hugging him tighter.
“Sissy is sorry, I had work last night,” I said and Zada giggled covering her mouth. “I forget this is around the time he wakes up,” I said as I carried him to the kitchen.
