Chapter 64: Share?

‘Celeste!’ Dante mind-linked me, interrupting the time Callen and I had been sharing and bonding.

‘What?’ I was annoyed at the interruption and he felt it.

‘Where are you?! Jackson can’t find you, your scent is fading across the pack house and Joan has lost her damn mind thinking someone has kidnapped you!’ Dante growled.

Geez, I hadn’t even left the pack house and my scent was so faint…where in the pack house were we? How far away from everyone else were we?

“Uh…Callen? Where are we in the pack house?” I asked him, breaking the soothing silence we had been basking in together.

‘CELESTE, WHERE ARE YOU?!’ Dante screamed through the link, now sounding panicked.

“We’re in the basement. I have always liked the solidarity down here. I find it relaxing and calming. I grew up in this room…whenever I was here, I mean.” Callen quickly explained and corrected himself. I got the idea that he really wasn’t raised by his real father, and in fact, was raised by Dante’s father all this time.
